new member sought for authoring the monthly curation threads

I'm looking to hand off the business of creating the monthly curation threads where everyone's individual anticipated upcoming games are brought to community attention.

Post a reply here to announce that you are self-appointing yourself. This is also a good time for everyone to suggest and discuss changes you'd like to see.

If it isn't already clear, this task can be a pretty simple routine to maintain even when you feel busy: at minimum you would post a template post every month around the 31st or 1st. Of course, as MC you can bring new influences to the whole show.

While I'm not saying you haven't been putting thought into it, it seems like the stripped-back version of posting a new thread with a template post once a month is something that could be easily handled by a bot..... does Xenforo have bots?

Yeah, that would be another way to serve the same purpose. I personally expect it might have lower participation, since a fresh thread at the start of the month creates a burst of participation and sense of community involvement.

I absolutely prefer a new thread for each month. Let me think about taking over, I'm not the best about remembering repeating events like this but if no one else is interested I can give it a shot.
