Mr. Cat is an absolute bastard of a fight. As with everything else in his dungeon, he only attacks once every two turns, but he can use any of the moves from the enemies in there. And as you've no doubt noticed, past a certain amount of HP he decides that he gets to ignore that drawback. I would recommend slow-playing your resources until that point, and then swinging for the fences with everything you've got.

I don't think you presently have anywhere that sells better gear than Shinryu? You're right that the Arena and Dark Dungeon have good alternatives though, ESPECIALLY if you manage to get the rare treasures hidden in every five-floor range.

And it's done. Thoughts later, for now I just wanted to complain about the difficulty spike that was the second Buck fight. Everyone was near or at level 60, and my setup was enough to kill most of the side-quest bosses with ease (except for the Phoenix, which I didn't try a second time). But Buck is incredibly fast and hits insanely hard. Just felt like too much of a difficulty spike, considering that I also could deal with the rest of the game on normal. After losing three times, I turned it down to easy. After losing yet one or two more times, I finally was able to kill this stupid bats fast enough for me to win.

That fight soured me a bit on the rest of the end, which is why I need a bit before I can write my thoughts down.

Aside from that, great game. Had a very good time with it. And also thanks for the comments and tips, I appreciated all the help I got from you guys.
