So we have a thread for talking about music that was part of a Thunderdome. But what about the opposite? Here's where we can include songs that didn't make our cut for including in a Thunderdome or that we forgot about until too late / after the fact. (Assuming you don't want to "save" them for a future Dome.)

Bongo is currently running the Mega Microdomes contest which includes the Coverdome.
Only too late did I think of two other songs I could have added to my picks:
Creedence Clearwater Revival's covers of Suzie Q and I Put A Spell On You.

I didn’t want to nominate two songs from the same album, and anyway I think I like Born Under Punches slightly better, but Angélique Kidjo’s cover of Talking Heads’ The Great Curve is also a masterpiece.
