I've been playing Sucker Punch's new open world game, and for the most part I'm enjoying it. The combat feels very Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time inspired, which I wasn't expecting, and the open world itself is your typical go to a place and do a thing deal. The story is very much a weak point, drawing on pretty much every samurai-inspired cliche in the book, and the way it puts samurai on a pedestal is a little much.
One thing that's unambiguously great about the game, though, is the environments' use of color. I mean, look at these screenshots! It's a triumph of video game artistry.
