On this subject, if you do get Goat Simulator for a kid go for one of the console versions or standalone mobile expansions. And I'd advise against the PC version, it's aimed towards an older audience (Non-computer versions cut out the blood and hard swearing).Goat Simulator. His dad and I played this game with the intention of figuring out if the wee child "should" be playing this game, and we kind of came to it being "violent", but Loony Tunes violent. If you are okay with that, it is a game that is totally where a kid can be a kid, and just lick whatever walls he wants until things explode.
We've gone through Mario and botw and Kirby and minecraft, and kiddo is getting way into minecraft dungeons, but I want some other games for us to play. Thoughts?
Oh, Untitled Goose Game, for that matter. Especially now that it's two-player.
Only if the kid cares about progressing. My 4yo will screw around with the gardener for hours.Seconding this. My daughter is 5 and flipping loves this game. Basic reading is required.
Yeah, my niece couldn’t speak/read English at the time, but she got a kick out of this game nonetheless when I showed it to her while we were visiting.Only if the kid cares about progressing. My 4yo will screw around with the gardener for hours.
I was gonna continue the joke and say Monster Hunter Rise BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I thought about Switch games I own and I was like oh snap wait I have a legitimate idea
The Mana games are all on Switch? Like there's the collection and the redo of Seiken Densetsu 3! The story in Secret/SD3 consists of "BAD GUYS...WHOA!! WE GOTTA GET EM" so I think he'll be able to keep up fine, and you can do co-op. Dad/kid fun times!
Also instead of arguing over who gets to use the sword and/or spear, you can just take them and tell him he's grounded if he complains. Dad of the year!
I mean, best Zelda game, even if I think they messed up a few things with the remake.Link's Awakening is nice too
Indeed, and I know my opinion is in the minority. (Link to the Past is right there with it for me.)Eh. I like it, but I wouldn't call it the best Zelda game. That's another thread tho.
Part Time UFO: A crane game with your cute flying saucer performing various tasks for money. Build an ice cream sundae, catch fish, load up a tractor with turnips. A Hal production!
