I think we don't have a general thread for this? Or at least not for the newest one?

Feel free to suggest super-cool runs of games. I'm actually not that interested in the event, with a few exceptions, like Mr. Bones from last year, I think? I'd be interested in more stuff like this, speedruns of goofy, interesting games by a funny player. Any suggestions, for stuff that is similar to Mr. Bones? Obscure games no one ever heard of, but interesting and clearly made with love, and interesting to watch?

Just in general? Maybe I can come up with a few. From AGDQ 2022 though, let's see. . .

Sonic the Hedgehog 4, which featured a vtuber and a guy in a Sonic costume, and a world record

Hades all weapon race was fun, especially all the stops to pet Cerberus

Sekiro blindfolded

I am behind on some of the runs because of work so if I see some more I'll link them.

I mainly thought we could have a general thread for GDQ, and wanted to use it immediately to find interesting stuff. Feel free to just post your favourite runs here. Thanks for the videos, and thanks(?) for the Meegah Mem II one. Uh, that was certainly something.

Wait, this game is actually on Steam and costs 4 bucks. What.

Casio Mario World is some great banter with incredible gameplay going on in the background.

Yeah, kezcade (the player) and ThirdWall (the commentator) are both super cool dudes who are well-known in the kaizo community. For anyone who is a little less familiar with the genre, Casio Mario World is probably the most difficult kaizo game to ever be run at GDQ. It has an incredible soundtrack of electronic music, ported to the Super Nintendo by the hack's author, and a final boss that was imported from a Momodora game. Well worth your time, if you have any interest in platformers!

Let me add one or two to the pile. The Mario (Luigi) Galaxy 4-player race was incredibly close the whole way through, although it did have one particularly baffling bit of community lore at the Major Burrows boss fight:

And of course, everyone loves seeing a classic game played by one of the masters. Here's coolkid with Mega Man 2:

SNOLF 0 is Sonic 1 but Sonic is a golf ball. It shouldn't be possible, much less marathon-runnable, but here we are.
