Did you know that $200 in 1997 when FF7 first came out, is now more like $400 due to inflation? So it's kind of true. You're almost all of the way there to a PS5 now, in 1997-money. (The Slim, Digital-Only version of the PS5 is $450.)My teenage self believes all new videogame systems are $200, and you should just ask your grandma to buy it for you for Christmas.
This is the position I'm in. I'm sitting on Front Mission 2 Remake, and I really want to play that. But I know I won't be able to finish it by the time FF7R2 comes around, and I don't want to put that game down and never pick it up again.I'm in a weird holding pattern where any game I might play now has to be completed by Feb 29 or I know I will abandon it.
Re: Persona 3 Remake -- Loved P3 back in the day. I've bought that game at least three times now at this point. I got 80% of the way through the game at least twice before save file corruption, or house burglars making off with my save file. I'd like to play and beat the game some day, but you just know a FES/Golden/Royal version of this will come out at some point, and I'm not going to buy this game a FIFTH time.
