I couldn't believe we didn't have an all-purpose bread thread on the new forum after all this time. After all that spelt time no one would rye-se to the occasion, so I thought I'd go ahead and do so, it's the yeast I could dough!
Anyway, enough foolishness. I haven't made Sourdough in some time, not before my recent move anyway, but fortunately I have kept feeding my starter and it's still alive and kicking and I haven't lost my touch:
If anything the extra time since my last loaf has only improved my starter's tang. And those crust blisters were a thing of crispy beauty. Didn't get a very pronounced ear, but I can live with that.
