I really wish this was scheduled for later in the day; if I'm up that early on a Saturday then something's wrong. At least there's Youtube.Check out MrMightyMouse's run of Comfort Zone, a kaizo SMW hack, on Saturday the 9th at 7:51AM EST! It's a really fun game to watch and he's a super chill dude, it should be a good time. He will be joined by the hack's creator, Orka, as well as the always delightful GlitchCat7.
Indeed, that was an excellent run, with very informative commentary. Those are the best runs, when they explain (and explain well!) the stuff being done to optimize the run.Startropics was an awesome run. Theres not really many glitches or anything to exploit, so the game is by and large played straight forward, just with extremely high execution. Really great commentary!
Seconding Bongo's recommendation for the 100% Yoshi's Island if you want to watch someone nearly flawlessly play that entire game.
Holy cow, that blindfolded Mario 64 run!
Aw no! Did he have to start over? How did they handle it?Poor MrMightyMouse, the entire GDQ Twitch stream went down for 10 minutes during his run. He came back and finished it like a champ, but what a bummer for him.
Just watched this. Amazing. And you would never know, that the guy used a DDR pad, instead of a controller.Add the Celeste C-sides on a DDR dance pad run to the list.
That is probably why I've bounced off of it. I haven't really put my full devotion into it like I do other really tough games. It certainly looks like an experience. But be warned, die US version is supposed to be very hard, at least in some places.
