a question about eating potato chips (or crisps for our British friends)

So it's national potato chip day and I have a really weird question about eating potato chips.

When eating chips do you?
1. put the whole chip all of the way into your mouth?
2. stick your tongue all the way out, put the chip on the tip of your tongue and then use your tongue to pull the chip into your mouth?
3. eat them some other way.

[I saw someone do things the 2nd way in a youtube video once and it just struck me as an absolutely bizarre way to eat chips.]
