Excellent! It's definitely worth it even if you only play G-Darius - it's a fantastic port and definitely the best one the game has ever had in terms of accuracy!
On that note, it's serving as a reminder that the PS2 port (based on the PS1 port) maybe wasn't so ridiculously overclocked - the arcade version matches it for speed most of the time, slowing down mainly when it wants to load something. The speed of the game seems to have no relation how much stuff is being thrown around the screen, so you'll sometimes find yourself catapulted right out of some comfortable slowdown and into a hail of bullets, four waves of enemies and a miniboss. It's exhilaraing but taking some serious re-routing, hehe.
