I'm really digging this LP, ViolentVixen. Are you considering an LP of Mario's Time Machine following the completion of this one?

The Google map for this was, er, unsuccessful as it appears none of the streets are mapped. But there clearly is a lot of brown smog!
Teatro Colón Obelisk of Buenos Aires I couldn't figure out the Gaucho Museum for a bit, then I remembered this conversation: So the official name is Museo de Motivos Argentinos José Hernández. I still can't find the Wikipedia page, but here's a site with a map and another that has a more detailed description of the museum. |

Thank you! I haven't played Mario's Time Machine, but I have played Where In Time is Carmen Sandiego, I'll have to check out the Mario one. As for another Let's Play, I still really want to do SimLife next, but maybe later on...

Went back through the thread to make sure the links worked and saw these:

Vous devriez aller au bonne Paris, ViolentVixen. Il y a un ville avec tout les sorts de l'histoire.

Oh man. I never played Mario Is Missing back in the day but you bet your ass I played Mario's Time Machine... the DOS version ("I may not own a Nintendo, but now there's a Mario game available for our fancy IBM! I bet it's like Back to the Future!").
Oh my does this bring back memories. I actually played through a second time, having actually internalized all the history facts the game intended to teach me so I could get the good ending. Last edited by blinkpen; 11-09-2008 at 02:25 AM. |

Paris has the same music as Rome, and it really is a nice track. I'm honestly a little surprised they didn't spell is "Francly" |

Soooooo Luigi has fireproof pockets, I guess? I would assume you can't just extinguish the Eternal Flame and carry it around.
Easy enough to collect! |

So for some reason Google Maps directed me to a Ben and Jerry's at the Eiffel Tower. I'm cool with that. This is a good map to zoom in on the sites, everything is quite easy to pick out. Eiffel Tower , bonus bizarre picture: Arc de Triomphe Notre Dame I'm probably just going to combine Sydney and Mexico City next update, so don't worry about picking one! |

I'm a little disappointed that Luigi doesn't gain his fire coloring when he picks up the eternal flame =(

The last two cities of this floor!
Nothing really distinctive about the design of the first city: I never did figure out the significance of the portrait on the building to the right and of the pansy (I'm guessing) on the building to the left. If anyone knows I'd be curious to hear: One other thing I haven't mentioned (which you guys may have figured out) is that the background of the city moves separately from the foreground. It's a fun touch and this one is more obvious than others: Last edited by Violentvixen; 11-29-2008 at 09:15 PM. |

Oh wait, I'm allowed 15 images now, huh?
Anyway, the items we need to find quickly give away where we are!, here's the music.: Got the items, although the surfboard really is silly. And with only two cities to choose from in Australia this isn't exactly difficult! The Google Map is fun mainly because there are boats EVERYWHERE. So silly in fact, that's I had to ask everyone about the surfboard:
"Guy?" Really? Haven't they figured this out by now? And um, wahine specifically means "woman". Is Sydneysiders an actual term that people use? It makes sense, but you never know with this game. |

Anyhoo, time to return things.
And I get stumped at the Opera because I'm asked one of the rare questions where the answer isn't in the pamphlet! Anyway, I asked around and found the answer: Somehow I doubt koalas are allowed on a bus. Last I checked they aren't service animals. Anyway I return the koala and YEEAAARRRGGGGHHH |

I, um.... hmm.
I have no idea what the joke is supposed to be here: Unfortunately I could not get the map to work, but if you don't calculate the directions it'll keep the placeholders! And Mexico's soundtrack is here. Last edited by Violentvixen; 11-30-2008 at 01:47 AM. |

Back we go with a screenshot at the creepiest moment possible!
And another I Can't Believe It's a Boss Battle: I did have to hit him maybe five times instead of three, so that was a bit stressful. And a new floor! Where do you guys want to go next?: New York Rio de Janeiro Tokyo Cairo London |
