Normally you have to sign up in advance. Since this already has a thread, though, you could probably just post it here as a continuance. I'd hit up PapillonReel about it first, though.

Check the Let's Play Archive, Claims & Rules ver. 2.0.2 - Read Before Posting! thread thats stickied at the top of the forum. Just randomly starting an LP is frowned upon and will be locked pretty much straight away.

On a side note, I did just what you did and I can't get my friends to play it for the life of me. The idea of sinking a lot of time into a game that is so easy to lose just doesn't jive with them, no matter how much I explain that the default condition in AH is losing, not winning, which makes winning so much more special when you pull it off. None of them are Lovecraft fanatics like I am which I think is a lot of the problem...they just don't understand that the nigh insurmountable odds in AH are part of what make it so authentic and therefor so awesome. Waste of 60 bucks that was.

I have done two complete playthroughs with my group of friends and we have won both times, before the Big Bad arose. I think we're doing everything right, but there is some confusion in the rules that I need to find errata for.

If this thread was abandoned, that is. Arkham Horror's already been wrapped up, so you'd have to start a new thread for another run of the game. Not trying to be vindictive or anything, it's just that I can see a lot of abuse being made if people feel they can start up new LPs in expired threads anytime and rules abuse isn't no good for nobody.

The good news is that there's an opening in March (maybe even two if February's last claim doesn't get put up soon) so if you want, you can go ahead and start a new thread in the next day or so instead. Even better, it'll help the thread stand on its own by making it less of a continuation and more of its own thing!
