I'm not making any promises(especially with school starting up) but I haven't forgotten about this thread.
There, I think that's just the right mixture of hope and frustration to leave them with. |

Hooray!
My only regret is missing out on the good part of the game by not joining this forum yet. |

I'll second that conditional "Hooray". Chrono Cross is awesome.

Diary of a mute hero, seventh entry
It seems like I was unconscious for a long time, but it was only one day. Weird. I woke up in a hut and found that I had encountered the fabled Woman With Junk In The Trunk. I didn't believe that they really existed in our world of skinny waifs. But it was a little early to be making discoveries about my sexual preferences so I went for a walk. Apparently we have Korcha to thank for rescuing us. In return, I declined to comment on his wardrobe. Just a second later, Kid collapsed. Sure, we all enjoy a ride on the consciousness see-saw. The unnervingly laid-back Doc gave us the bad news: Kid was poisoned with hydra venom and has two days to live. Worse news: We need to find a hydra to make the antidote, and hydras don't, technically speaking, exist. Unexpectedly, Harle the sex clown crashed the party and insulted Korcha. Harle made the very sensible suggestion that I just let Kid die. I just met her and she's kind of unstable, so what do I care? At this point, Korcha got angry and tried to fight Harle but she just teleported around and said, "such a simpleton. It'z so much fun playing jokez on you." Hmm, does Korcha have a thing for Kid? Harle teleported away like the annoying bad guy she is. Korcha implied that all the people who hang out with me are weirdos, which is probably a more astute observation than he realized. |

To make things more emotionally complicated, Kid woke up and gave me her most valuable possession, which I'm pretty sure is symbolic of something. Korcha really can be incisive when he wants to be. It's a good question. Man. If only I had a week or two to think about it, or a council of wise men to advise me. Meh, they'd probably just jerk me around. Councils of wise men are always full of bastards. |

You're back? Oh my Godddddd!
I don't trust Kid; ever since she joined our group it's been one fiasco after another. Let's let someone else go find a cure for her while we try and figure out a way out of the Frozen Flame mess she left us in. Also, an LP without Glenn is dead to me. DEAD! |

Oh like you're going to waste your time hunting down a fictional animal.
Don't bother hunting down that antidote. She should have known better then to get poisoned anyway. And if you save her, you get Korcha, which means you might use Korcha. And that is a fate I wouldn't wish to see. |

Antidote antidote!
It pretty much comes down to the choice between Razzly and Mel. They're the only ones who matter anyway. And I want my sparkle fairy!!! *pout* |

I remember reading it's possible to nearly finish Chrono Cross without recruiting Kid. I'd like to see that.

Yay, more Chrono Cross!
Cute as Razzly is, I'm gonna throw in with the "blow off Kid" crowd. Aside from Glen being awesome, that plot path leads to endless fan-wank speculation about who *actually* gets to save her. Fun times. |

Anyway you should not save Kid because Vic from Infinite Undiscovery reminds me of her. |

Of all the diverging paths in the game, this is the one that I get the most indecisive over. I mean, Glenn is awesome, but poor Razzly ;_; So yeah, save Kid. At least you can partially make up for lost awesomeness by picking up Greco. |

I don't understand how anyone could just skip out on Kid. Are you all some kind of monster?
Although with the way you've played the game so far Sanagi, I guess saving her would be out of character. |

I saved her the first time I played because I was genuinely worried that she'd die and I'd miss out. That dungeon is a pain in the ass though and Glenn is awesome.

Glenn is far more awesome than El Greco or Razzly, and he's the source of endless amusement at the expense of fanboys who think there's amphibian DNA in his blood. Also, if you go get Razzly, you'll be OBLIGATED (yes, OBLIGATED) to track down her Level 7 Tech. And yet, down that road lie madness and despair. Do you want to inflict madness and despair upon yourself?

There was a song? It was clearly not sufficiently etched into my brain and thus we must save Razzly.

It doesn't change the fact that Glenn is still cooler. [Dual-wielding knight with duplicate holy swords], who is capable of double-teching with Serge ([who himself gets a legendary weapon]), all the while speaking in the same tone of voice as Frog did while kicking just as much ass as he ever did? Hells yeah.
I like Razzly and all - really, I do - but there is seriously no competing with that. |

When I finally played the Glenn route I was disappointed. He wasn't as cool as everybody made him out to be by a long shot. Just... somebody's little brother. *shrug*

Also, his fighting stance is cool. Yeah, I know, I'm essentially voting for Razzly instead, but still! |

Kid always annoyed the heck out of me, so count me in for Glenn (and Leena - I was always amused by her weapon of choice).

How the hell do you get poisoned by a monster that doesn't exist?

I think it was mentioned in some other thread that it's highly unlikely. Forget the reasoning. Would be nice if someone would pick it up. And hey, different party/names? Just another alternate reality. I dislike the post-bodyswap far too much to volunteer.

It would also be nice if people would stop bumping dead threads for no reason. You're peddling false hope, man.
