Second entry - continued again
Poshul and I reached the beach, where the dog realized that I wanted to be alone with Leena. Very perceptive. Sadly, Leena invited Poshul along anyway. I found out that Leena's making plans for marriage already. This relationship is moving a little fast for me. Although she did imply that sex would be happening at some point. I thought I heard a voice calling my name. Then I had this bizarre sensation and collapsed. I think I saw a cat in there somewhere. Very surreal. When I woke up, everything had changed somehow. And Leena was gone. Damn. I was probably about to get lucky. |

This is pretty great so far. I can't wait to see the rest of it.
... I hate Poshul. But then again I hate about 90% of Chrono Crosses cast. I'm looking forward to lots of playable character mocking. |

I'd usually pick up Poshul in my "save Kid!" games, if only because she's innate Yellow (the first character with such color in the game, IIRC,) and the Hydra Marsh critters are innate Green. But I'd dump her immediately after getting a better character (usually, El Greco.) I don't even remember what her L7 Tech looks like. And is it me, or does everyone in Arni-Home radiate an aura of quiet desperation? From the proto-emo poet chick, to the guy who gives you the Shark Scale amulet who seems to regret every decision he has ever made, to Leena herself, it looks like they have dreadfully stagnant lives in El Nido. [But then, when we learn what has happened in El Nido-Home, it makes more sense.] |

... You know, this and the opening to Kingdom Hearts seem curiously similar. Coincidence... Or not?!?!

Oh man, drag out the opening to ten times the length maybe and you've got the opening to Kingdom Hearts.

Poshul's cute! In a creepy sort of way.
So many games have characters that you wish were playable... so it's kind of sad that Chrono Cross let's you play as everyone, but... you don't really want to! (Except for Lucky Dan, he's the best~) From what I understand, if you're a registered user, they stay forever, if you're not registered, they stay until someone hasn't looked at them in like 9 months. |

You must get Glenn. It is mandatory.
Please? |

The CC dimension shift always struck me as so underwhelming compared to CT time tunnel. The giant wave coming at you is pretty cool, but other than that it's over pretty dang quick.

Yes, Glenn is a must. Also, get him dual Einlanzers.

Then again, Chrono Cross is unrelentingly easy already, so making it easier would only expedite the proceedings. |

Serge's Journal: Third Entry
When I came to, Leena was nowhere to be found. Poshul had a theory as to how this happened. We went back to my house, where things got even weirder. Apparently, or so I thought, we got evicted while I was away. And while all of this was disturbing, when I found Leena it got downright scary. Leena revealed that the Serge she knew died ten years ago. She suggested that I should visit his grave on Cape Howl. But when I arrived, someone was waiting for me - several someones, in fact. First was... Jailbait girl - I mean, Kid. The girl from my dream. Things were getting seriously weird. And then this guy showed up who was looking for me. He knew that I was supposed to be dead. Which was impressive considering I had only just found out a minute earlier. |

Third entry, continued
Naturally, violence ensued. But this Karsh guy and his flunkies could hardly stop arguing with each other. These two guys, Solt and Peppor(seriously) didn't understand magic at all. Kid and I made short work of them. Kid suggested that we team up, but I was still kind of freaking out that the girl I met in my dream was a real person. I needed some time away from all these weird people to collect my thoughts and figure out if I was still sane. Kid said she'd meet me later, in Termina. Oh, did I forget to mention that Karsh kicked Poshul right off the mountain? Maybe he's not that bad. Leena was waiting for me when I got home. Well... It's not home anymore, but she was there. She still didn't believe me, and suggested that I might have brain damage. But even so, she had been captured by my sexual magnetism and wanted to come with me to Termina. |

Third entry, continued again
Before taking a much-needed rest, I visited the fisherman who had given me the shark-scale amulet. Except now he wasn't a fisherman, he was worshipping some weird doll. I began to suspect that he was on drugs. But I showed him the amulet. He wasn't really convinced. But then... I began to suspect that I was on drugs. |

I think I actually renamed him to "LuckyD" in my game. Not that Mojo is bad or anything, just at the time I was trying to be true to his original character! *cough*
The resurgence of Lucky Dan love has inspired me to think about making a Lucky Dan plushie I think I lack the proper amount of yellow and orange felt, though... Hrm... |

This. I'm late to the thread, and kind of drunk right now, so I don't have much else to say.
But you MUST get Glenn. This is not an option. |

*checks character list to refresh memory* Wow, one path, you get Korcha, Razzly and Mel. The other, you get Glenn, Macha, and Doc. What a difficult choice.

I'd just like to point out that Kid is nothing like a real Australian except for the wanting to solve all her problems with violence bit.

(Digging that grave must've been fun, too. Dig dig dig dig aaaaaaaaah splash.) And good call ditching Kid. She's a wee bit... psychotic. The complete lack of nutrition (she's skin and bones, man) must have done something to her head. I'm sure the Australian accent is only a symptom of her greater mental issues. Speaking of, can anyone imagine this game being remade with voice-acting? Can anyone imagine Poshul? And threatening to kick someone's arse so hard they'll kiss the Moon[s]? |

I always assumed they hadn't recovered his body. Makes more sense then digging on a cliff over the sea.

It'd be better than having to read it. All those accents were the reason I stopped playing after meeting up with some aboriginal-esque kid- it was a chore.

I forget
How many people could you find to add to your party in this game? Loving it so far, I'm pretty sure I got Mojo though I don't think I ever used him.

The first time I played this game, I just stayed on the overworld for a while and listened to the music. It's still as awesome as it was then.
