You're clearly not very good at the behind-the-desk work required for a promotion.

If you know what I mean.

Aw, I was hoping that I would survive the final mission. Oh well, I somehow have the highest kill count out of all the dead X-COM units, which is pretty awesome!

Nicely done LP, Eddie! I eagerly await your next one.

And I thought I had been underpromoted!

I'm happy I survived my tour of duty (to say nothing of tying for #1 on kills). Good job making sure I was psi-resistant, Eddie.

I lived! How surprising and awesome! I was expecting to die a horrible death and set off a chain of game ruining panic. Between XCOM 2012 and this I'm even more prepared to jump into a game of my own sometime soon. Excellent job.

I knew I'd live and I knew I'd make it to Mars!

I was really just along for the trip

My shambling corpse survived! Granted, even combined my number of kills was pretty sad. Good LP Eddie, I look forward to your eventual next one.

21 combined kills! Death seemed to improve my psi ability.

Darn... The unnatural abomination that was Torzelbaum II spent too much time on the DL and in psi-training so he/she/it wasn't able to do much. I really wanted to give those aliens a piece of my mind!

Earth is saved! Hooray! And hot damn, I got the final shot on the alien brain! I'm sure I'll make millions from my future memoirs and have a long career as a minor celebrity and war hero. At least until the PTSD causes me to go crazy...

Good job kicking alien ass, Eddie, and thanks for sharing it with us!

Very much enjoyed this Eddie!

Is it a common occurence to only see Sectopods in the last mission?

I humbly accept my role of final mission rearguard/moral support. Someone's got to watch that elevator and prepare victory snacks for the heroes!

Great job on the LP, Eddie!

What's that? Everyone's going to Mars? Oh, well, don't mind me. I'll just stay home and watch the fort, maybe do some light grumbling about how my amazing kill ratio will forever be overshadowed by a couple of jerks who decided to do the whole "blaze of glory" thing on their first and only mission, and how kids these days just keep playing with their psionics and don't appreciate a good heavy plasma, etc. etc.

Nope, you can see them in Ethereal Terror missions, battleships, and base missions too. I just wasn't interested in fighting more Ethereals than I needed to (SOP for the endgame is just to shoot everything but battleships down; why risk doing otherwise?). I'll post the research for the Sectopod in a bonus update.

At least you lived through more than 4 missions, twice! More promotions means more chance for death, so be greatful.

Great LP, Eddie. Look forward to more.

I'm dead already? I keep dying in peoples' X-Com games.
