Haha! Hello and Welcome to my first ever LP for Talking Time!



That's right, you read the title correctly. I am going to be doing an LP of Cave Story, but with the twist of letting you guys make the decisions for me! So do I give the Polar Star to Curly Brace? or do I swap it later for the Snake? Do it jump down the pit in the labyrinth and talk to Booster or ignore him?

FIRST CHOICE!

Cave Story OR Curly Story

This Choice is to play through the game as the original character, Quote (Cave Story Option); or to play through as his partner Curly Brace (Curly Story Option).

There are no major game differences between these two, just the character being played and some dialogue.

Knowing nothing about the game, I'll say Curly Story

Okay, I first played Cave Story. Then I watched Brickroad do Curly Story.

Okay, I choose Cave Story, and then I'll play Curly Story myself next time.

Let's go the conventional route - Cave Story.

I've never personally played Curly Story.

Well, if you are playing a version that gives unique dialog to her, then Curly. If not, keep it old school.

I am playing Cave Story+ that was released on Steam.

Missiles are not for dorks but I heard if you ignore missiles until the last chest of the secret area you get super missiles with 99 ammo. DO THE THING THAT CREATES EVIDENCE FOR THE SPOILER.

So what's so wrong with maps? I'll vote yes unless someone explains otherwise.

On the other hand, I'm kind of interested in this missile rumour, but it's already passing anyway, so I'll abstain on that question.

Well I think the missile upgrade they are referring too is inside hell. There are a lot of choices between here and there, and if one thing doesn't go correctly I can't go there. XD

Since the convo has died off, I think I'll go ahead and end the voting and push out the new episode! I'll keep a close eye on here and when the talking and voting has died off early I'll go ahead and put out the next episode.

Well...if we're not going to do the Super Missile business, then picking up missiles might be a good idea after all.

The bubbler is a snazzy weapon if you know how to use it.

Sorry...I don't remember the consequences of these actions, so I've been holding off. I'll vote Yes on both.

Yeah totally get the Bubbler. It's useless to speedrunners but a weapon that is neat and that is GOOD.

Also I understand the pain of nobody voting on your LP.

Well the people that voted in the first round wanted me to wait on the missiles until the last chance to pick them up, but I think it's only fair to offer them as an option when they are available to pick up. There haven't been any real choices yet with big consequences. YeY for the Bubbler! ^_^
