Friendship works almost exactly like it does in Pokemon. If you walk around and your Pokemon/Digimon do not faint the friendship will go up. And just like Pokemon friendship is a required mechanic for some Digivolutions. Yue for example needs a certain percentage of friendship to Digivolve to the next level.

50% to Lunamon, 70% to Lekismon, 80% to Crescemon and 100% to her Mega form.

Default The end is near

Plot Mission 8: Search the DigiArea
Step 1: Go to Union Room and talk to Raigo

Raigo: Chief Julia?

Impmon: No, nothing at all. I’ve been trying to contact her also…Where could she have gone?

Zanbamon: CITY’s communication system isn’t fully restored so that might be why we can’t reach the chief…

Raigo: But it’s not like her to stay out of touch this long…This has never happened before…

Zanbamon: …Don’t worry. She can handle herself. She’s probably doing fine.
-Nepet walks in-

Raigo: Nepet, you made it! Impmon…if you hear from the chief, please let me know immediately.

Impmon: Got it, I’ll let you know!

Raigo: I’ll be waiting! –Impmon gets off the conversation- Nepet, we can’t find out anything about the chief…She hasn’t even contacted her
NaviDigimon. We’re at a dead end…

(So I think this means that Impmon is her Phascomon.)

Zanbamon: So as a Union Quest, an investigation of the entire DigiArea has been ordered.

Raigo: But…We haven’t been able to gather any information.

Zanbamon: Nepet, Do you think you can cooperate with the other Tamer’s [sic] and find out where the chief is?

Raigo: I’m counting on you.

Step 2: Gather information on Julia
(As soon as you walk out of the Union Room, it transfers right to this cutscene)

Newton: You’ve taken on the quest to investigate the entire DigiArea, right?

Dorothy: We also took the quest and we just talked to Spike…

Newton: It sounds like there are a few Tamers that haven’t returned to CITY…Something’s definitely going on…

Dorothy: Punch’s group is one of those that are missing…

Nepeta: Oh, what a surprise! The weak guys who were in trouble from the first boss and then whined to me are in trouble. Probably wanted to prove how manly they are…good riddance.

Newton: We haven’t seen Chief Julia in a while either…I wonder if the chief could be missing too?

Nepeta: You’re kidding, they don’t tell everyone? Not like you guys wouldn’t notice…

Dorothy: Huh?! Chief Julia is missing?!

Newton: Nepet, how do you know that?! Are you a VIP or something?!

Dorothy: Newton…What are you talking about?

Newton: Well…

Dorothy: This conversation is secret…Let’s not talk here…

Newton: Huh? Then where should we talk? Not my place, it’s a mess.

Dorothy: I wouldn’t go with your place filled with trash and roaches! Quit joking!

Newton: It’s not that messy…

Dorothy: Hey, Nepet! Let’s go to your place!

Newton: Let’s invite Spike also! …I think we’d better let Sukekiyo’s group know also.

Dorothy: Let’s all get together and talk at Nepet’s place!

Dorothy: Chief Julia?

Sukekiyo: Are there any leads at the chief’s home? I see…Let’s get permission from the chief. We can’t get in without the home address.

Nepeta: That’d be a great idea to find the chief. Ask the chief to enter her house so we can check her house to find the chief…wait no, that’s a terripurr idea.

Kakumi: Yeah…Even Raigo can’t just search Chief Julia’s home.
Sukekiyo: I guess it’s kind of sad, but the chief doesn’t really pay much attention to Raigo!

Kakumi: Chief Julia and Raigo definitely don’t make a good couple!

Sukekiyo: I guess so…

Kakumi: All men are like that these days!

Nepeta: What?! Are you the master of tangents?!

Dorothy: Anyway…We need to find a lead!

Newton: You’re right…But where should we start looking?

Spike: Nepet, why don’t you ask Koh of Light Fang?

Dorothy: Are you sure? It’s Light Fang. What if he’s a spy? He’s really strong…

Newton: Nepet, you said that when Light Fang was acting strangely, he was acting normally. We can find out about SunshineCITY also!

Kakumi: We’re just wasting our time like this.

Sukekiyo: Then get to it Nepet!

Spike: Nepet, why don’t you contact him and meet him somewhere so you can talk?

Dorothy: But where? It needs to be a place that won’t have any interruptions and be safe for us…

Newton: Let’s get him to come here!

Dorothy: That’s ridiculous! Not here! He’s Light Fang. He could be the enemy!

Nepeta: Dorothy, is your brain on a loop? All you ever say about Light Fang is “Ew, Light Fang they’re all eeeeeeeevvvvvilllll”

Newton: But there’s probably no other place where it’s safe and we won’t be interrupted, not to mention we’re already here.

Dorothy: But…! It’s dangerous…!

Spike: I agree with Newton…But it’s Nepet that has to make the choice.

(Now this is oddly the introduction of any sort of dialogue trees. But this one is semantic so you can take any answer.)

Spike: So you’ll do it. Thanks, Nepet.

Newton: Well then, Nepet, call him right away. Now we just have to wait for Koh to contact us…
-Koh replies to Nepet’s email-

Dorothy: He replied already? What did he say?

Sukekiyo: He’s coming right away?

Phascomon: Nepet, Koh asked for access so I gave the OK. Wow, look at all these people.

Dorothy: Hi Phascomon. Did you gain some weight?

Phascomon: That’s a secret. Please make yourself at home.

Koh: Nepet, hello!

Spike: Hello Koh. Thanks for coming. I’m Silver Tamer Spike, of Night Crow.

Koh: Hello Spike!

Dorothy: Please, come on in.

Newton: Yeah, come in! It’s a little messy!

Koh: Thank you…

Spike: On behalf of all Night Crow, we welcome you.

Sukekiyo: Although it is just us.

Newton: Hey, Koh, we’re in a real bind because our chief is missing. Even Punch’s group is missing.

Dorothy: Newton! You idiot! What if he’s actually a spy?!

Newton: Oh, did I say too much? But we were gonna talk about it anyway.

Sukekiyo: Things like these can’t be kept secret.

Spike: Right…That’s why we asked him here. Koh…Have you heard any rumors about Chief Julia at Light Fang? Anything would help.

Koh: Actually…I haven’t been back to CITY lately…

Dorothy: Why is that?

Koh: Lately all the Light Fang have been acting strangely…They stopped talking…and it’s kind of creepy…

Spike: I see…Light Fang aren’t normal either. This is very strange…There’s more to this. It could have something to do with Chief Julia’s disappearance.

Newton: How long ago did everyone start acting strangely?

Koh: Umm…Let’s see… Oh! I think Pulsa and Komachi started acting strangely at Limit Valley. Yes…I remember! That’s it! It was Limit Valley!

Dorothy: Limit Valley? That DigiArea that appeared out of nowhere. That place is suspicious…

Spike: We still don’t know much about that DigiArea…There must be something there.

Sukekiyo: Can you think of anything else?

Koh: Well…Let’s see…There are an awful lot of quests that go to Access Glacier…

Koh: After the tournament, I’ve been busy so I haven’t taken on a Union Quest, but…

Dorothy: Access Glacier? Hmm…Did it have a link with DarkmoonCITY?

Spike: No, the link isn’t up yet…We need to talk to Raigo about this.

Koh: Nepet, I’ll send my digivice’s ADRProtocol to your digivice! It’ll give you a link to Access Glacier.

Spike: Thank you Koh. I’m glad we talked to you. Now, I’ll go report this to Raigo.

Dorothy: Then, Newton and I will go investigate Limit Valley.

Sukekiyo: Then we’ll go look for Punch’s group.

Kakumi: These three fools! What a burden!

Nepeta: I never thought I’d agree with you.

Koh: I’ll go to CITY and try to gather some more information.

Spike: Thanks Koh, but just be very careful. It might be dangerous. Well Nepet, I want you to check out Access Glacier! Let us know when you get even the slightest information! Be careful everyone! Dismissed!

Step 3: Obtained ADR protocol! Go to Access Glacier
Note: Due to low Aptitude making it so Skully and Bec can’t Digivolve to Ultimate, I put them back to Rookie putting Leomon and RookChessmon in the front line instead.

(Before we go to Access Glacier I will show you Dark S Area and the next DigiColiseum fight. Etemon does Farm Islands, Red MegaKabuterimon gives you Farm Goods, Big Mamemon is Consumables and Phantomon does Equipment.)

(Now we shall cover the Silver Rank fight.)

Kaori: Just call me Kay. I’m in charge of the Silver Tamer test. Show me some good stuff. I don’t like wimps.

Referee: Now, we’ll begin the Silver Tamer test! Ready…Go!

(Silver Rank Fight:Cost 2,000 bits, opponents: Parasimon, Moon=Milleniummon and Vademon, reward from BanchoLeomon=10000 bits )

Parasimon
Parasimon is a Digimon can’t survive without leeching off of other Digimon making it powerless by itself. Parasimon also enhances the power of its host Digimon while amplifying its desires giving Parasimon something to control. Parasimon was the main villain of one of the movies set in the universe of the third season, Digimon Tamers.

Moon=Millenniummon
Moon=Millenniummon is a soul Digimon existing within the inner world of Millenniummon. As a result of Millenniummon’s dark soul becoming a Digimon it does not have a fixed form and although it commonly takes the shape of a crystal, it seems that the hatred and anger it feels against its opponents cause it to change shape. As it is a soul with no substance it is immune to physical attacks (not in-game tragically. That’d be interesting). It is said to be impossible to beat as once it is beaten Moon=Millenniummon will revive throughout time and space. Moon=Millenniummon was the main bad guy of the middle two games of the Digimon Wonderswan series starring Ryo from the third season of the anime.

Vademon
Vademon is shaped like an alien but is rumored to being born from the seed of a plant. Despite its looks it actually has strong offensive power. In Season 1 Vademon was the main villain of a bizarre episode where he took away the curiosity or heart of one kid and had him fold his body into the alphabet in a giant void.

Referee: Winner, Nepet!

Kaori: You’re strong. But you need to be or you shouldn’t call yourself a Tamer. From now on, you’re a Silver Tamer! Keep up the good work. Congratulations on increasing your rank!

(Now back to Access Glacier)

(Access Glacier is far to the left of the starting area to the extent you have to scroll the screen over there. Go through the top path until there is a fork in the road and take the top-left path. Take the middle path and then a top path until you enter a pipe. This will take you to the Macro Sea. Follow the only path there is until a fork in the road. Take the bottom right path and keep taking the lower and right paths until you reach a Macro Sea entrance. Take the upper left path and get the Macro Key. Use it to open the firewall and walk through a pipe leading to a boss fight.)

Reptiledramon
Reptiledramon transformed itself into the mechanical being it is in order to more reliably bring down its targets. Because its body could not deal with its ferocious nature it remolded itself in Chrome Digizoid to retain its ability to move. It may be small but it has the power to defeat massive Digimon. Reptiledramon was in a manga series, Digimon Chronicle and the games.

Zudomon
Zudomon is derived from a walrus and a onomatopoeia for a hammer thud. It guarded its thoroughly tempered muscles with protectors made from the pelt and shell of its enemies. The horn was replaced with one that would not regrow so it was sharpened into a saw shape. Its strongest weapon is its hammer known literally as “Thor’s Hammer”. Zudomon was the Ultimate of one of the kids’ Digimon in the first season of the anime.

Frigimon
Frigimon is a snowman to Chuchidarumon’s mudman. It is made from ice crystals and is a warm-hearted Digimon that tries to avoid fights and live a leisurely life. Frigimon are usually cameo and one-episode Digimon.

Angemon
Angemon has six shining wings and is clad in cloth that is so pure it is said to be divine. It is full of virtue and although it brings happiness and that it will not stop attacking until the evil force is annihilated. When a crisis occurs it is said Angemon descends to lead other angels in battle. Angemon was one of the Digimon in the first season and defeated the first major villain and always had some strength over the more evil Digimon.

Mammothmon
Mammothmon is an ancient Digimon that existed long ago. Due to global warming in the Digital World its data was expanded and it left from icebound areas. Its whole body is covered in dense fur and while it is powerful it is weak to heat. The crest on its mask is an ancient crystal of wisdom giving it clairvoyance and the ability to see the future. Mammothmon is usually another cameo Digimon.

Hyogamon
Hyogamon is a palette swap of Ogremon themed around glaciers. He only has appeared in the video games.

IceDevimon
IceDevimon is a palette swap of Devimon. In the third season of the anime IceDevimon was a somewhat sadistic, manipulative person and wishing to become the new Partner of one of the kids and IceDevimon was arguably one of the more remembered one-off characters in that season.

Icemon
Icemon is a digivolved form of Gotsumon but yet still a palette swap capable of ice attacks. As this Digivolution is rare, it is said to be unknown how it happens. It appeared as mooks in the sixth season of the anime and mostly in the video games.

(Due to Macro Sea being mandatory, I will also cover Macro Sea Digimon I encountered.)

Syakomon
Syakomon is a Digimon designed from the giant clam. Because it has developed the shell-like scales drastically, the main body is slime-like and the size of an In-Training Digimon. He entices the opponent with the cute slime-like body and then attacks. Once his scales are raised his defenses lead to attacks bouncing off of him. Syakomon is yet another mook and cameo Digimon mostly in the games.

(More to come in the next part...too many Digimon and plot images for this one post.)

Default The end is nigh part 2

Coelamon
Coelamon is based off of the coelacanth and as such has large talons and a rough outer skin. When the network was being healed from a bad hacker this Digimon was discovered still lurking and it is still primitive. It is believed to be an ancestor to current fish Digimon. Coelamon is of course another cameo and mook Digimon.

Dolphomn
Dolphmon spawned from a unique signal that came from researching communication between groups of dolphins. It can only be in the sea but goes through it in high speeds. As expected it has high intelligence but we can’t understand referencing the belief of dolphins being smarter than humans. Although it doesn’t like to battle it will not go easy on those who challenge it. Dolphmon is another small role Digimon.

Divermon
Divermon is a cross of fish, mechanical and amphibian patterns. The motor on his boat lets it move fast. Its combat efficiency allows it to capture its prey with its favorite harpoon, Torrent. Divermon are usually minions of bigger, more powerful sea creatures.

Whamon
Whamon is the sworn protectors of the “Net Ocean”. Due to their enormity, they have so much data that normal computers cannot process them. Whamon are used as form of sea transport in the anime and is sadly not seen as much more.

GrapLeomon
GrapLeomon is a Leomon that took in the data of fighting games using those skills to defeat its opponents. (What?) Although the turbines help it unleash ever-changing techniques they are powered by the strong sense for justice inherited from Leomon. GrapLeomon was the awkward member of the Leomon line never seen in the anime leaving it to the video games only.

GrapLeomon AKA Catwomon has Psychic 4, upping his Spirit by 20, Critical 3, Extra Damage 3 and AttackUp4 for his support, Yue got a two-zone water attack and also learned a two-zone attack with a space between the zones and a paralysis effect.

(Back to the plot…)

Grimmon: Let go of them? Are you sure about that? …I can’t do that just yet!

Koh: Then I guess there’s no choice but to fight!

Grimmon: Insolent fool! Do you think you could take this?

-Grimmon does the purple sphere thing he did in the opening that broke CITY causing Koh to fall asleep. Soon after…-

Grimmon: This is an attack I improved with the digi-entelecheia I stole from Digimon…No one can withstand my Chrono DSR! –Nepet enters- You’re the kid who stood up against me at Limit Valley! Do you want to be like them too? Take this! Chrono DSR! –does the attack again causing Nepet to fall asleep-

Grimmon: Haahahahahaha! Behold! YGGDRASILL, I’ll show you the power of my YMIR! With this attack, I’ll rewrite the entire Digital World! –Nepet wakes up…somehow.-

Grimmon: What! Why?! Why does it have no effect on you?! …Hmm, low on energy. The one weakness of Chrono DSR. This can’t be helped. No matter…there’s no rush. Now that the Chrono Virus has awakened, there’s no point in dealing with the likes of you. Heheheheh…Farewell! –Grimmon teleports away, the dark sphere leaves Koh and he wakes up-

Koh: Thanks, Nepet. That was close. Are Chief Julia and the others alright…I was only affected by the virus for a little while, so I was able to come to my senses quickly, but… -Julia wakes up-

Julia: Ugh…Uh…

Koh: Be careful, Nepet!

ChaosGallantmon: We…Give…all to…YMIR…

ChaosGallantmon
ChaosGallantmon is a Gallantmon that decided to embrace its inner virus. Its lance and shield are known as the Balmung lance and the Gorgon shield. Its cuirass and greaves are engraved with the symbol of the “Digital Hazard”. According to one theory this Digimon and another named Megidramon are the same Digimon and that its form depends on the observer. ChaosGallantmon itself has only been in the video games and had a few toys.

ChaosGallantmon: Uggh…I’m……uh…ugh, my head…

Koh: ChaosGallantmon! Snap out of it!

ChaosGallantmon: …Where am I? What am I…?

Koh: ChaosGallantmon…You were infected by a virus.

ChaosGallantmon: Virus? Then I…Julia! Julia wake up! Nepet’s here! How long do you intend to sleep?!

Julia: Where am I? What am I…? ChaosGallantmon, what happened?

ChaosGallantmon: We fell into the enemy’s trap and were being controlled.

Julia: -looking at Koh and walking up to him- You are…Koh of Light Fang?

Koh: Yes! Are you alright Chief Julia? Nepet, came just in time to save us.

Julia: I see…Thank you, Nepet. I received a strange email saying that Thriller Ruins had a secret, so ChaosGallantmon and I went to investigate…Everything after that I can’t remember…

ChaosGallantmon: It seems that I was infected by the virus when CITY was attacked. I conducted a scan, but I guess the virus wasn’t completely deleted…I made an error…

Koh: The enemy is trying to get to get into every program in CITY in order to control everyone…

ChaosGallantmon: Is that so?!

Julia: So I was being controlled also…Could they have done something to me…At any rate, we have a bigger problem! We all have to protect the Digital World!

ChaosGallantmon: We have to do something about Punch’s group also. And that thing that’s binding them...Is it a virus…We need to analyze it.

Julia: Right! Let’s contact the Union immediately and ask for backup!

Step 4: Rescued Julia?! Return to Union Room

Julia: Looks like Punch and the others will be alright.

ChaosGallantmon: We reexamined everyone who was attacked by the enemy, so lets just wait and see for a while.

Julia: A vaccine was created from the viruses that were extracted from Punch and the other’s Digimon and we were able to restore Dark N Area of the Access Zone.

ChaosGallantmon: Now all areas of DarkmoonCITY have been restored.

Julia: Koh, are you worried about SunshineCITY?

Koh: …Yes, I can’t believe the other Light Fang were acting strangely because of a virus…Pulsa…Komachi…

ChaosGallantmon: Yes, Like me…They either were infected when CITY was attacked or when they were attacked in the DigiArea…Julia, what’s the matter?

Julia: It’s not a good idea to send Koh back to SunshineCITY…

Koh: No…! But, I have to save everyone!

Julia: It’s too dangerous to go back alone. Once Center Bridge is restored, we’ll help you. Please wait until then.

ChaosGallantmon: Hmm…I think its safe to say that the Light Fang Tamers are being controlled by the enemy now…

Julia: Nepet, will you take care of Koh until we defeat the enemy?

(Now this Data tree actually has some split dialogue. As a result I’ll cover both paths. First the top option.)

Julia: Thank you, Nepet. You two get along.

Koh: Nepet, Thank you! I really appreciate it!

Julia: Then that’s settled! Now we’ll think of a plan to save Light Fang!

Koh: Thank you Chief Julia.

Julia: Koh, we need to talk to Nepet, so do you think you can leave us alone?

Koh: Yes. Please let Phascomon know! Chief Julia! ChaosGallantmon! Thank you very much! –Koh leaves-

(Now the bottom option)

Julia: I see…Then there’s no choice…Do you want to come to my house Koh?

Raigo: Chief Julia! Why the Light Fang kid?!

Julia: What do you think?

Koh: -looking at Nepet-Seriou? -back to Julia- Um…Well…uh…Well…I…Are you sure…Chief Julia?

Julia: Of course. Do you not want to stay with me?

Raigo: Chief!

ChaosGallantmon: Julia, let’s let Nepet take care of him. Take good care of him Nepet!

Koh: Thanks for taking me in Nepet!

ChaosGallantmon: Well, that’s settled… -dialogue leads into the stuff about plans to deal with Light Fang-
(Now back to where it blends)

Julia: So Nepet, is it true the enemy said YMIR? Really…that means…

ChaosGallantmon: Julia…

Julia: Let’s first check the database. Nepet, you be extra careful! Don’t forget to stop by the Quest Counter!

Nepeta: You seriously won’t…fine…don’t tell me any backstory at all.

Step 5: Receive a reward at the quest counter
(Plot Mission 8 complete! Rewards=150 Tamer Points, 13180 bits, and a Gold Blade.)

(And now to end this update, the side-missions and our final stats at the end of this.)

Default Side Mission party

Dark Mission 4: The Haunted House

Step 1: Talk to Devimon in Dark Plaza
(Devimon is on the far end of Dark Plaza, past everything including the teleporter to your DigiHome.)

Devimon: Hey Nepet! I’ve been waiting for you! I want to open a haunted house like Dracula’s Castle! But all the Digimon I asked to play Dracula turned me down! Do you think you can ask them again? Myotismon and the others are at Thriller Ruins!

Nepeta: OK…anything you want me to say? Any way to convince them? Any…fine, I’ll go.

(You know if the game embraced its inner madness like this more, it'd be a much more interesting product. A devil just asked me to go to a haunted castle to talk to a vampire so he can play Dracula in the haunted house the devil owns. That's actually kind of awesome.)

Step 2: Talk to Myotismon in the Thriller Ruins
(Once more you will be put into the castle part of the Ruins from the beginning. Go through the purple portal and walk through that entire area until you exit out of the other portal. Myotismon is right behind you and his feet will be noticeable on the screen.)

Myotismon: Huh? Who are you? What do you want? What? Devimon’s request? Oh, the one I declined. The answer’s still no! Why do I have to be Dracula at a haunted house. I won’t even be paid! Get out of here, if you don’t, I’ll force you to!

Nepet: They didn’t even…he’s not paying you?! We shouldn’t…fine I have to or I will lose the mission. Engarde.

Myotismon
Myotismon got his name from the Greater Mouse-Eared Bat or Myotis Myotis. As the “king” of Undead Digimon he has mighty powers due to dark rituals. Originally a brutal computer virus which destroyed what it absorbed, it possessed the ability to revive the data as viruses. It is cruel and malignant and is hard to destroy. However its power in half during the daytime. Myotismon is famous for being a villain for about half of the first season and the final villain of the second season which was a sequel to the first.

Myotismon: I lost. Alright, I’ll listen to your request. You need to ask VNMyotismon first though. Go look for him somewhere in Thriller Ruins.

Step 3: Find and talk to VNMyotismon
(Go back to the entry point on the map either by portal or walking and then take the upper route. VenonMyotismon will be right there.)

VNMyotismon: Huh? You want to use Myotismon to play Dracula? What’s this all about?! Are you mocking us Myotismon?! Dracula’s castle? Why would I agree to that?! No way!

VenomMyotismon
VenomMyotismon is based off of the Second Beast of Revelation and the mythological Abbadon. It is the true, evolved form of Myotismon. Unlike Myotismon it is full of omnicidal and destructive instincts and the gentlemanly Myotismon hates exposing its true form. VenomMyotismon was the next form of Myotismon in the anime and forced the first Digivolution to Mega in the first season.

VNMyotismon: Yes. You’re a pretty good Tamer. All of your Digimon have a good look in their eyes! Alright then! I’ll agree to your request. Whether it be Dracula or Frankenstein, we’ll play whatever you want!
(On the way Voltmon learned a 3-zone attack.)

Step 4: Report to Devimon in Dark Plaza

Devimon: Nepet, Thanks for everything! VNMyotismon agreed to do it! I’m sure it’s going to be a really scary haunted house! All I need now is to find a really scary castle! Anyway, thank you! Now get your reward at Dark Center!

Step 5: Receive a reward at the quest counter
(Dark Mission 4 complete! Rewards=160 Tamer Points, 11190 bits and an Obelisk which is a sword for Dark-type Digimon level 20 or higher)

Beast Mission 4: The Armor Knuckle

Step 1: Talk to GrapLeomon in Dark Office

GrapLeomon: Nepet, the other day I went to Thriller Ruins to train, and I lost my precious Armor Knuckle. I fought many Digimon then, so I don’t think I’ll make it back safely if I go back there again. Please, Nepet, go to Thriller Ruins and get my Armor Knuckle!

Step 2: Find an Armor Knuckle in the Thriller Ruins
(Start by going to the room at the top of the ramp where you fought VenomMyotismon and talk to Mummymon. After the fight go into the dark portal until you encounter the second Mummymon. Despite that Mummymon mentioning Boltmon, go to the other end of the portal and go climb the ramp to fight a third Mummymon. After this enter the next room to encounter and fight Boltmon.)

Mummymon: Hey, who are you? Are you a friend of the guy that hurt my friends? You’re gonna pay!

-after fight-

Mummymon: Ugh, I’m still weak from my injury! The weapon that belonged to the other guy? How should I know?

Shaujinmon
Shaujinmon is based off of Sha Wujing from Journey To The West. Although it is normally cool and collected it is said that if it loses even one bead of its necklace it will transform into a terrifying Digimon. It has the super-heavy "Kouyoujou" staff. Shaujinmon was another Digivolution of Kamemon but was swiftly defeated in the fight it appeared in.

Mogri AKA Shaujinmon now has Psychic 4, Mist Cape which significantly increases resistance to water-based attacks, Quick 3 increasing dodge rate and SpiritUp 4 for a support.

Mummymon 2: Who are you? What are you doing here? We’re all upset because of that guy who was here the other day! If you’re one of his buddies, you’re gonna pay!

-after fight-

Mummymon 2: Darn, you’re strong! Hey, you’re here because you’re looking for the weapon the other guy dropped, right? Boltmon should have it!

Mummymon 3: Hey you! What do you want?! This is no place for you! Go back! What? You’re looking for the Armor Knuckle? Boltmon has it! But I can’t let you have it!

-after fight-

Mummymon 3: Darn, I’m telling Boltmon on you! There’s no way you can win!

Step 3: Find and talk to Boltmon
(This is covered in my step 2 instructions as well)

Boltmon: I’ve been observing your battles from the very beginning. With your strength, I don’t think you’re a bad guy. How’s this. If you can beat me in battle, I’ll give you back the Armor Knuckle. Acceptable? Then let’s begin!

Boltmon
Boltmon is inspired off of Frankenstein’s Monster and “Bolt” is a reference to that. Boltmon was made as a prototype to the Android Andromon. Unlike Andromon, Boltmon was given emotions and was stronger than Andromon but because it ran wild it was forced to hide in the darkness. Due to their egos, the scientists responsible denied Boltmon even existed. Boltmon has only cameod in the anime and shown up in video games.

Boltmon: Very well. You’re a fine Tamer. Take the Armor Knuckle.

Boltmon: You are a fine Tamer. Perhaps the owner of that Armor Knuckle isn’t so bad. I’m getting that feeling. I won’t forget you. Farewell!

Nepeta: But he beat a bunch of people up then made me clean up his mess…

Step 4: Talk to GrapLeomon in Dark Office
GrapLeomon: Nepet, you got my Armor Knuckle. Thank you! But from what I, hear, It appears that Boltmon is a very noble Digimon. I’m not quite as noble. I’m going to Thriller Ruins to apologize to Boltmon and the others. Your reward is at Dark Center.

Step 5: Receive a reward at the quest counter
(Beast Mission 4 complete! Rewards= 160 Tamer Points, 11190 bits and a SpiritRing Theta.)

Machine Mission 4: The Combat Game
Step 1: Talk to Megadramon in Dark Hall

Megadramon: Hey Nepet! I’m a big fan of Vikemon that lives in Access Glacier! Even though I live in CITY, I want to help them! I want you to enter their combat game! I’m sure everyone would be happy to see you! The game is held in Access Glacier.

Nepeta: Wait…so in some missions nobody knows me and I have to do menial stuff, for others I’m a celebrity who is called in so my clout can help people? How does that work?

Step 2: Go visit Vikemon in Access Glacier
(Vikemon is right in front of the transporter.)

Vikemon: So you’re Nepet. I’m starting the combat game so please assist me. The rules are simple. Fight three Zudomon and if you beat them, you can get an Ice Stone, Frozen Stone, and Snow Stone. When you have them all, come see me.

Step 3: Defeat Zudomon and obtain an Ice Stone
(Go to the next screen on the only path and talk to Zudomon.)

Zudomon: So you’re Nepet. I’ll take you on first! Prepare yourself!

-after fighting-

Zudomon: Aaah, ouch! I give up! Here, take the Ice Stone.

Garurumon
Garurumon is named from the onomatopoeia for a wolf’s growl. It is covered in fur as hard as mithril and the blades from its shoulders have sharp edges. As it has a furious instinct and honed sinews combined with accuracy and agility, it is feared by other Digimon but will respectfully follow its leader. Garurumon was the Champion to Gabumon in the first season of the anime and his line was one of the few to reach Mega.

Step 4: Defeat Zudomon and obtain a Frozen Stone
(Climb up the ladder, enter the next screen and then take the middle path as the left path is a portal leading to the third Zudomon and the right path is blocked.)

Zudomon: I’m next! It’s a pleasure to fight you! Here goes!
-after fight-
Zudomon: You’re really strong! I give up! Here’s the Frozen Stone!

Cyberdramon
Cyberdramon is a Dragon-man that covered its body in a unique type of armor with which it can endure any attack. When Virus Digimon appear, it suddenly appears out of nowhere to annihilate them. However it is a vigilante of sorts and its true colors is shrouded in mystery. The armor also amplifies its offensive ability. Cyberdramon is a Digimon gotten as a result from the plot of the Digimon series for the Wonderswan Color and also appeared with the same character starring in these games when he appears in the third season of the anime.

Megadramon
Megadramon is a Digimon programmed to destroy everything. It could be said that its very existence is a computer virus. It can easily destroy firewalls and then reformat the host computer. Megadramon are usually minions or monster of the week Digimon.

Step 5: Defeat Zudomon and obtain a Snow Stone
(Go into the dark portal on the left path and then enter the portal on the same screen in order to pass the firewall. Go the far left path near the pipe in order to get the Digi-Egg of Friendship. After that return to the middle path near the portal and Zudomon will be right there in the open.)

Zudomon: Now it’s my turn! I’ve been looking forward to testing your strength, Nepet! Here goes!
-after fight-

Zudomon: You’re just too strong! I’m amazed! Take this Snow Stone, according to the rules!

Step 6: Bring stones you collected to Vikemon
(Go past the third Zudomon and go into the pipe to Macro Sea. From there go through the path you took last time and go talk to Vikemon where you fought ChaosGallantmon.)

Vikemon: Nepet, you’re amazing. You got all of them! But this is not the end! Now you must fight me! Let’s begin!

Vikemon
Vikemon is designed after a Viking Berserker and is said to govern the land of permafrost where nothing thaws. Its fur is said to be hard and like ice. With the morning star “Mjollnir” it can annihilate a mountain in one swing. It manages corps of Ikkakumon and Zudomon and while it seems to be heartless in battle it is actually very compassionate. Vikemon did not appear along Zudomon in the first season of the anime and Vikemon has not been in the anime at all.

(After the fight Yue learned a two-zone confusion causing attack and Mogri learned a 3-zone attack that also lowers defense.)

Vikemon: Thank you Nepet. It was an wonderful game. I hope you participate again.

Step 7: Report to Megadramon in Dark Hall
Megadramon: Hey Nepet! Thank you so much! Vikemon sent me an email. He said thank you to me! I am so happy! This is all because of you! Now get your reward at Dark Center!

Step 8: Receive a reward at the quest counter
(Machine Mission 4 complete! Rewards=160 Tamer Points,11190 bits and a Damage Ring Beta)

Plant-Insect Mission 4: Tasty Water
Step 1: Talk to Yanmamon in Dark Square
Yanmanmon: Nepet, how are you? I need your help. I want some Tasty Water. I want my friends to drink it also. Tasty Water used to be everywhere, but now you have to make it. ShogunGekomon in Loop Swamp can make some. Nepet, please ask him to make some.

Nepeta: Tasty Water. Tasty Water? I seriously am on a fetch quest for tasty water? I should just get him a water bottle…

Step 2: Go visit ShogunGekomon in Loop Swamp
(Take the bottom portal right after the entrance and ShogunGekomon will be right there.)

ShogunGekomon: Who are you? You want Tasty Water? Then go find a DigiBranch. If you find one, I’ll make the water for you.

Nepeta: We’re in a swamp! Why do I have to…a branch? There’s a tree five feet from my head!

Step 3: Find a DigiBranch
(Take the only working whirlpool and then go into the whirlpool after that. After this do not enter a whirlpool and go through the path. After that you will see a treasure chest. Open it to get a DigiBranch.)

Blossomon
Blossomon is designed after Biollante from the Godzilla movie “Godzilla VS Biollante”. Despite its strange appearance it is usually docile. It has an unusually long life span for a plant and although the pedals may fall out when the season changes, Blossomon can grow new pedals. It hates arid areas and grows near water. Blossomon is ironically a minion Digimon despite the docile nature I mentioned earlier.

Step 4: Bring a DigiBranch to ShogunGekomon
(Use a Gate Disk and use the same instructions of Step 2.)

ShogunGekomon: You found a DigiBranch. Then first get some water from the swamp. Next crush the branch, put it in the water and stir. Then wrap it up in my leaf, strain it, and it’s finished.
(So the Tasty Water is a recipe for cholera. Interesting.)

ShogunGekomon: There’s plenty so share with everyone.

Step 5: Bring Tasty Water to Yanmamon in Dark Square
Yanmanon: Oh, you got some Tasty Water! You got a lot. I’ll give some to my friends. Everyone will hear about the Tasty Water and gather at Loop Swamp. Your reward is at Dark Center, so go and get it there. Thank you.

Step 6: Receive a reward at the quest counter
(Insect-plant Mission 4 complete! Reward=195 Tamer Points,9485 bits and an Experience Ring Beta)

Next time: We meet the leader of Kowloon Co and fight the final battle of the main story!

Before we go though, let’s look at our current stats and levels.

Plot Mission 9: Merchant of Death

Step 1: Go to Union Room and talk to Julia

Spike: …So we discovered the enemy virus degrades the data in the Digital World.

Julia: I see…

ChaosGallantmon: Julia, are you talking about the Chrono Data from the YMIR Project that was in the DigitalCITY library?
(Julia, you should tell your partner your projects…)

Julia: Yes…It was probably used to make the virus.

Spike: Chief Julia, what is this all about? –Nepet walks in-

Julia: Nepet, good timing.

ChaosGallantmon: We were just talking about the enemy.

Julia: In the past there was an experiment called the YMIR Project conducted on this server. The records were still in the DigitalCITY library.

ChaosGallantmon: We don’t know the specifics of that experiment, but it appears they were trying to set a lifespan on Digimon and make them evolve like humans…

Zanbamon: A life span? That’s ridiculous! A Digimon’s reason for existing is to constantly digivolve and degenerate in order to become the ultimate digital life form. There’s no way a Digimon could die because of a life span!

Julia: I guess you’re right…You guys just don’t grow old and die…

ChaosGallantmon: It makes no difference whether you live like a human or live like a Digimon. The important thing is how you’ve lived. How long you’ve lived doesn’t matter at all.

Julia: It seems like the experiment was too difficult and it finally got canceled for some reason.

ChaosGallantmon: After that, this DigitalCITY was built…

Spike: So that means…the enemy is using the program that was created then to attack?

Julia: Yes…

Spike: Where could the enemy be…

ChaosGallantmon: According to Koh, we can assume that SunshineCITY is controlled by the enemy…

Julia: So the enemy is probably in SunshineCITY…

Spike: But Center Bridge can’t be restored yet. The virus there is much stronger than in other areas. We’re only managing to keep it from spreading with a new vaccine. –ChaosGallantmon seems uncomfortable-
(Then how did it not spread before any other point in the game?)

Julia: What is it, ChaosGallantmon?

ChaosGallantmon: I don’t want to do this but there’s no choice…Listen carefully…GranDracmon of Kowloon Co might be able to restore Center Bridg. [sic]

Julia: Huh? The Merchant of Death, GranDracmon?

ChaosGallantmon: Yes, with his skills, he might be able to restore CITY…He supposedly lives on Proxy Island…

Julia: True…The areas that were cut off were both restored with the item they had. Kowloon Co could restore Center Bridge. Nepet, go to Proxy Island and talk to GranDracmon of Kowloon Co and ask him to restore to Center Bridge. Spike, you take Sukekiyo, and Kakumi, go to Center Bridge, and oversee its security! The Light Fang that are being controlled might attack it.

Spike: Got it!

Julia: Nepet, I’m counting on you. You’re going to be dealing with GranDracmon, the Merchant of Death. It won’t be easy.

ChaosGallantmon: Nepet, I’m sure you can do it! Good luck!

Step 2: Go to Proxy Island and meet Grandracmon
(Take the right path and open the chest when you reach Proxy Island then continue on that path. Take the right path on the first fork you encounter. Climb the ladder and go on to the next screen, grab the treasure chest then continue going on the path. Take the bottom left path when you get a chance between that and a higher path. After that go through the normal path and then take the extreme left path. After that go through the only path until you encounter a cutscene.)

JungleMojyamon
JungleMojyamon is the sasquatch of the Digital World and eats orange bananas while living in the warm forest. JungleMojyamon is only in the video games.

Tortamon
Tortamon is a Digimon that commonly appears in the anime with cameos or a monster of the week.

Etemon
Etemon is a Digimon that suddenly appeared in the Digital World and called itself the “King of Digimon”. It is rumored it pulls the strings of Monzaemon. It is dressed in a reinforced monkey suit that can endure every attack. Etemon was one of the villains in the first season of the anime and had his own arc. In the dub he also spoke terrible one-liners and had a Elvis voice.

Diatrymon
Diatrymon is an ancient bird with powerful leg strength. It is ferocious and attacks all it considers an enemy. It is named after the Diatryma species. It can sprint with a velocity of 200 kilometers an hour. Diatrymon has only appeared in the video games.

Sabredramon
Saberdramon is a palette swap of Birddramon. It only has been in the video games.

Monzaemon
Monzaemon is designed after the puppeteer Chikamatsu Monzaemon and the teddy bear. It is rumored there is someone inside Monzaemon who came in from a part in the back. It is said to wrap the opponent up in love with its body and make them feel happy. This means it shoots hearts from its stomach like a Care Bear. Monzaemon is usually a cameo role or a monster of the week.

Mamemon
Mamemon is known as the Smiley Bomber. It is normally bewildered and has a lovely appearance but it has a lot of power. Its hands are very powerful bombs. Mamemon is another cameo and monster of the week role.

Solarmon
Solarmon is a palatte swap of Hagurumon. He only has been in Digimon World Dawn and Dusk.

http://digimon.wikia.com/wiki/Scorpiomon
Scorpiomon is designed after the Anomalocaris. It is said to be created when a computer virus infected the databanks of computers from ancient times. It has an enormous appetite and uses its tentacles when fighting. When he loses a battle he burrows away. Scorpiomon was the second in command to one of the big villain groups of the first season and had a surfer accent as did his boss, MetalSeadramon.

http://digimon.wikia.com/wiki/Okuwamon
Okuwamon was enhanced with a focus on Kuwagamon’s weaker defensive side. On the attacks side it became more accurate and better at reconnaissance. Its destructive instincts are as primal as its survival instinct. Okuwamon is another cameo Digimon usually.

SkullBalushimon: So, what kind of problem should I write next…Well, there’s this, then there’s that…Hehheheheh, I’m a genius! Guess I’ll go tease Mercurimon with this. Hey! How’d you?!! Boss! We’ve got trouble! –teleports away-
(After this cutscene go into the portal right in front of you.)

SkullBalushimon: Boss, we’ve got trouble! It’s that Union Tamer! You’re persistent for coming to our hideout!

GranDracmon: So you’re that Union Tamer called Nepet? You’ve got some nerve interfering with us!

Mercurimon: Boss, let’s get ‘em!

Gaiomon: Wait, attacking a single person with a group will hurt the reputation of Kowloon Co.

GranDracmon: So…Why don’t one of you take this one on!

Gaiomon: I’ll do it!

GranDracmon: Very well, Gaiomon, go for it!

Gaiomon: You may have beat me the other day, but not this time!

(Bec learned a two-zone punching attack, Voltmon a strong one-zone two-hitter, Catwomon the same as Bec, and Mogri a two-zone water attack.)

Gaiomon: I’ve lost…Did the Union order you to come and capture us? …Huh? No you say? You’re here to talk? GranDracmon, why don’t we hear that he has to say?

GranDracmon: Hmm…You don’t seem like the enemy…I’ll listen to you for Gaiomon’s sake. Union Tamer…Come closer. Hahaha! I won’t attack you. Come closer! So, what do you want? I’ll listen to anything if it will let Kowloon Co make a profit! What?! You say the Union wants to hire Kowloon Co?

SkullBalushimon: Mercurimon, what’s this all about?

Mercurimon: You can’t fool me! You plan to capture all of us in CITY! Boss! Don’t be fooled! This one is really sneaky! Don’t get cocky just because you’re a Union Tamer! This is a trick, right? We’re the meanest, baddest Digimon around. We’re Kowloon Co.

Gaiomon: Wait, calm down! If this is true, this will mean big business to us.

GranDracmon: Yes…You’re right. Once we, Kowloon Co, take on a job, we’ll make anything you want. We’ll get the job done and restore Center Bridge as you requested. Though it is a request from the Union, business is still business. We won’t do it for free. Since Center Bridge is a big system…how about 1 million bits? You’ll have to pay 100 thousand up front.

(Now this dialogue tree is actually really big. If you have the 100 thousand you can take the top option and skip the GranDracmon and get a weapon out of it. Unfortunately as the sword is really bad, GranDracmon is a ton of experience and your team has very likely leveled putting them back at full health and MP I recommend taking the second option. Regardless I will show both. First the top option.)

GranDracmon: What? You’re paying? Cash you say? You definitely know how to do business! Very well! We accept your request! Now, hand over the 100 thousand bits. I need to see the real thing.

-You give GranDracmon 100000 bits!-

GranDracmon: Hmm…Oh, yes! Here, let me give you something as a token of our transaction! Give the Tamer that item we made the other day!

Gaiomon: That item, GranDracmon?

GranDracmon: Yes! That item!

Gaiomon: Understood. Now, Nepet…I’m sending it to your digivice.
-Nepet got KowloonBlade!-

GranDracmon: It’s settled! We’ll handle it from here. Now, why don’t we head to Center Bridge…Well then…Men, let’s move! –all but Mercurimon teleport away-

Mercurimon: Boss! Wait for me!
(Now for the second option)

GranDracmon: What? The Union will pay? You…You’ve got no idea how to do business! A verbal promise isn’t gonna cut it! We don’t even know if we can trust you…Not to mention we’re not gonna tolerate it if you tell us later you don’t have the money.

Mercurimon: Boss, what do we do? Are we doing business with them?

Grandracmon: It’s no surprise the messenger doesn’t have the cash. But the Union probably won’t hesitate to pay…First I’ll personally see if we can trust this Tamer! If you can beat me in a battle, I’ll take the Union’s word and take this job without the money upfront! I always give it my all! Are you ready? Here goes!

GranDracmon
GranDracmon is considered the king of vampire Digimon. It has kept a castle since ancient times and it boasts of such power that the Demon Lords cannot interfere in it. It has a gentlemanly demeanor and can make angels become fallen angels. It is said to have an undying body. GranDracmon has only appeared in the games.

(After GranDracmon Catwomon could have learnt an attack-raising move and Mogri learned a double-hitter.)

GranDracmon: You’re even stronger than your reputation…

Gaiomon: GranDracmon, what are we going to do?

SkullBalushimon: What do we do, boss?

Mercurimon: Let’s get out of here, boss!

GranDracmon: Kowloon Co never breaks a promise! We’ll head to Center Bridge right now. Men, let’s move! –everyone teleports away-

Mercurimon: Boss! Wait for me!

Step 3: Done deal?! Return to Union Room

Spike: I’m surprised…Kowloon Co is actually here investigating Center Bridge…

Julia: Nepet must have settled the deal. Nepet, welcome back.

ChaosGallantmon: Kowloon Co is here in CITY.

Julia: Thank you for convincing GranDracmon. We already discussed payment with him so you can relax. But Nepet, I think you got taken advantage of. The price is too high!

ChaosGallantmon: There’s not much we can do about it now, Julia…At any rate, well done, Nepet.

Julia: Now we’ll be able to go to SunshineCITY…Once Center Bridge is restored, we’re going in! Spike’s group should continue to oversee Center Bridge security and data management.

Spike: Understood!

Julia: Nepet, your reward is at Dark Center so go and get it later.

Step 4: Receive a reward at the quest counter
(Plot Mission 9 complete! Rewards=205 Tamer Points, 16585 bits, and a Platinum Cloak)

(Dark N Route is designed after an arctic region and MetalEtemon is a Farm Island remodeler, Boltmon sells Consumable Items, DevilTamamon is Equipment and HerculesKabuterimon Farm Equipment. Now that I don’t need to save my money for anything because I had the 100,000 to give GranDracmon I decided to buy a bunch of consumables.)

Aquilamon
Aquilamon got his name from the Latin word for eagle. It is called the Great Eagle of the Desert and flies through the sky at mach speed. It can locate its opponent at a great distance. Aquilamon respects decorum and abides to the orders its master gave it. Aquilamon was the Champion of Hawkmon in the anime.

(To prepare for the final battle and a digimon that I want, I grabbed a Hawkmon and began grinding. After a while of that I decided to do the two remaining side-missions. Aquilamon has Powerful 3, Slpyh Aegis 3 increasing resistance to Wind attacks and Speed Up 3 for his support.)

SkullGreymon
SkullGreymon is a Digimon that put too much reliance on fighting and as a result of this combat instinct, it clung to life even as it rotted away making it nothing but bones. It doesn’t have a scrap of evidence. SkullGreymon was the monster of one episode in the first season as one of the main characters forced his Digimon to digivolve into this form in an attempt to reach Ultimate.

Dianamon
Dianamon is named and designed after the Roman Goddess Diana. One of the Olympos XII, it presides over ice and water and is able to fight even when the surroundings are below absolute zero. It has a two-sided nature just like the moon and its beauty calls out a terrible power. Dianamon has only been in the games.

Bec now has Speed 4, DarkBreath 4, Critical 3 and AttackUp4 for his support, Skully has Powerful 4 increasing his Attack, Dark Veil greatly increasing his resistance to Dark-based attacks, Antidote 3 increasing poison resistance and DefenseUp4 for his support and Yue has Heroic Move increasing her Speed, Dark Veil, Mist Coat increasing resistance to Water attacks and Dodge Dance meaning more dodging and Defense Up 5 for support.

Dark Mission 5: Gorgeous Nuts
Step 1: Talk to Antylamon in Dark Plaza

Antylamon: Hey, Nepet can you do me a favor? I have a craving for the Gorgeous Nuts on Proxy Island. I can’t forget about how good they taste! Will you please go to Proxy Island and get some for me?!

Step 2: Go to Proxy Island and find GorgeousNuts
(Right below the spot you entered is a Solarmon. Climb down the ladder and talk to him)

Solarmon: What’s the matter, Tamer? Gorgeous Nuts? They’re kind of out of season. But I think I saw Tortamon collecting them on a nearby island.

Step 3: Find and talk to Tortomon
(Go through the screens and Tortomon is right there)

Tortomon: Ouch. That darn Vermilimon. He stole all the Gorgeous Nuts I collected. Huh? You’ll get them back for me? Really? In that case, if you do get the Gorgeous Nuts back, I’ll give you some!

Step 4: Reclaim a Gorgeous Nut from a Vermilimon
(Go from Tortomon to the original entrance when you go to the island. Not the one of this mission but the entrance at Merchant of Death.)

Vermilimon: What do you want?! I’m about to eat. Look at these Gorgeous Nuts. They look tasty, don’t they?! What, give them back?! You must be joking! The strong eat whatever they want! Those are the rules here!

Vermilimon
Vermilimon is a palette swap of Monochromon. It has only been in the video games.

Vermilimon: Darn, I lost. You can take your Gorgeous Nuts.

Step 5: Give a Gorgeous Nut to Tortomon
(Go back to where Tortomon was in Step 3)

Tortomon: Nepet, you’re amazing! I just couldn’t wait for you to come back! You really got the Gorgeous Nuts back for me!

-Nepet gave away Gorgeous Nuts!-

Tortamon: You said you wanted Gorgeous Nuts too. You can have some like I promised! Thank you so much! If it weren’t for you, I couldn’t have got the Gorgeous Nuts back! Well, see you! Bye!

Step 6: Report to Antylamon in Dark Plaza

Antylamon: Wow! Nepet, I’ve been waiting for you! Give me the Gorgeous Nuts! Hurry! They’re delicious! These are the only nuts I need! I’m so satisfied! Thank you! Now get your reward at Dark Center!

Step 7: Receive a reward at the quest counter
(Dark Mission 5 completed! Rewards=175 Tamer points, 13685 bits and a Daemon Ring)

Plant-Insect Mission 5: The Flower Bulb
Step 1: Talk to Snimon in Dark Square

Snimon: Thanks for listening to my request. Um. I want you to find out about a Mystery Bulb. When I think about what might grow from it, I got so worried. Can you go ask Lillymon? I think she’s in Resistor Jungle.
-Nepet got a Mystery Bulb!-

Step 2: Go to Resistor Jungle and talk to Lillymon
(Go through the only avaible path until you find a Gabumon. Talk to Gabumon.)

Gabumon: Huh? What’s the matter? Oh, Lillymon? She went to see Woodmon.

Step 3: Find and talk to Woodmon.
(Backtrack until you find the Woodmon. He is a bit stronger than the normal one.)

Woodmon: Oh, Lillymon? I haven’t seen her. You heard from Gabumon? I don’t know where she is. I’m not lying! Be quiet!
-after fight-

Woodmon: I give up. Lillymon went to see RedVeggiemon.

Step 4: Find and talk to Red Vegiemon
(Go back to where Gabumon was, climb down the vine and take the right path. From there go up the vine and you will see RedVeggiemon near the entrance to the next screen.)

RedVeggiemon: What? Lillymon? I don’t know where she is. What, Woodmon told you? Darn, Woodmon should have kept quiet.
-after fight-

RedVeggiemon: I give up. Lillymon went to see Cherrymon.

Step 5: Find and talk to Cherrymon
(Go through the path and near the part to the next screen you will see Cherrymon.)

Cherrymon: Huh, what do you want? What, Lillymon?! How do you know about her? I won’t let anyone snoop around here!

Cherrymon

Cherrymon has elevated intelligence and power. Called the Lord of the Deep Forest, it tempts Digimon who have gone astray in the forest to leave them trapped forever. The fog it generates creates illusions and then it devours those it traps. Cherrymon was a minion to one of the Dark Masters in the first season.

Cherrymon: I’ve lost. Now our secret is…What, you just want to ask Lillymon about a Mystery Bulb?! That’s?! Hurry and go show it to Lillymon!

Step 6: Talk to Lillymon who went back to CITY
(Go back to CITY and Lilymon is in Dark N Area.)

Lillymon: Yes? Are you looking for me? A Mystery Bulb? Is this a plant seed fossil? Really? This is amazing! If we study this we can find out why there are plants in the Digital World! Can I have this? Thank you!

Step 7: Report to Snimon in Dark Square

Snimon: How’d it go? The Mystery Bulb is a fossil of a plant seed? I see. That’s amazing. You gave it to Lillymon? That’s okay. I know what it is now so I can sleep. Thanks, Nepet. Your reward is at Dark Center. Go get it there.

Step 8: Receive a reward at the quest counter
(Insect-Plant Quest 5 complete! Reward=230 Tamer points, 14480 bits and a Dryad Ring)

http://digimon.wikia.com/wiki/Allomon
Allomon is the Armor Digivolution of Hawkmon made through the Digi-Egg of Courage. He is a monster in the show or in the games.

Allomon has Powerful 4, Fire Aura 4 which resists fire attacks, Sylph Aegis 4 and Attack up 4 for a support.

(After a while of more grinding, I remembered that I don’t need to grind in a “safe area” due to level-ups fully restoring your HP and MP so I decided to do the final mission.)

Plot Mission 10: The Final Battle

Step 1: Go to Union Room and talk to Julia

ChaosGallantmon: Nepet, you’re here. Everything is going smoothly. Center Bridge should be restored soon.

Julia: It’s almost time to move in on SunshineCITY…We need to move with caution. Oh, but before that…we need to make an emergency call to gather everyone here. Make sure you can come to Center Bridge anytime.

SkullBalushimon: We’ve got trouble! Julia, ChaosGallantmon! Hey, you guys! We’ve got trouble! Huh! Nepet, you’re here too?! Anyway, something big is happening!

ChaosGallantmon: What happened, SkullBalushimon?

SkullBalushimon: I’m not sure, but Tamers are gathering on the SunshineCITY side of Center Bridge!

Julia: Is it Light Fang? What’s going on?
(“Is it Light Fang?” We can’t cross the bridge yet! What does she think?!)

ChaosGallantmon: They might be trying to move in on this side?

Julia: At any rate, let’s stay calm and take action.

Koh: Chief Julia! Nepet, we have trouble!

Julia: Koh? What’s wrong?

Koh: The Union sent me an emergency call to my digivice! It said all Light Fang should report to Center Bridge! Defeat the traitors in DarkmoonCITY!

SkullBalushimon: So, this is why the Light Fang Tamers are gathering at Center Bridge!

Julia: It looks like Light Fang is preparing an all out attack on us…

ChaosGallantmon: Julia. They’re just being controlled by Chrono Data…

Julia: I know… I think it might be best to halt the restoration work on Center Bridge…

SkullBalushimon: What! Don’t tell me you’re canceling our work! You can’t do that! My beautiful program isn’t complete yet!

ChaosGallantmon: Don’t worry, SkullBalushimon. Restoring Center Bridge is a must, so there’s no way we’ll cancel!

Julia: The other side is acting strangely so we just can’t connect the bridge yet…Once we connect the bridge and Light Fang start coming to DarkmoonCITY like an avalanche…Then we’re in big trouble!

SkullBalushimon: I see…You have a point. Well, if you are defeated, and we don’t get paid, it’s bad for us also…Then how about this? Why don’t we put a lock program on the bridge so they won’t be able to come across this way so easily? Yeah, well I guess we won’t charge you extra for this! It’s important to first protect the client.

Julia: Thanks, SkullBalushimon! You’re a big help!

ChaosGallantmon: Yeah…You really are!

Koh: Wow, SkullBalushimon, you have good service. I’m seeing a whole new side of you! I thought Kowloon Co was a bunch of bad thugs.

(Thanks hired goons who seem to be our Mafia analogue! You did what any hired goon would do and protected your client! Good job! Gold Star!)

SkullBalushimon: Bad?! Us?! Of course not! Kowloon Co finishes any job to perfection, no matter who the client is! That’s business! Don’t you think so?

Koh: …Um, yeah. I’m sorry to call you guys, bad. But I heard Kowloon Co was known as the Merchant of Death.
(Game…that was GranDracmon. In the singular. Is his reputation some sort of thing that it spreads to everywhere it works?)

SkullBalushimon: Sure, we make some dangerous items at times, but it’s just business! If you guys ever need anything, we’ll get it for you right away! We’ll even give you a deal!

Julia: Now, let’s all work together to protect DarkmoonCITY! SkullBalushimon, I want you guys to work on the lock program for Center Bridge. Koh, Let us know if you see any new Light Fang activity! And Nepet…You keep watch on Center Bridge. Stay alert!

ChaosGallantmon: Please man your posts everyone!

Julia: We still don’t know much about the enemy…So make sure you act with extreme caution.

SkullBalushimon: I’m going to head back to Center Bridge and talk to the boss! Leave it to me!

Julia: Thank you.

Koh: Chief Julia, ChaosGallantmon…I’ll also head to Center Bridge.

Step 2: Light Fang assembled?! Go to Center Bridge
(This “step” will be completed as soon as you leave Union Room activating the next cutscene)

Koh: SkullBalushimon…How does it look? Will it work?

SkullBalushimon: It’s me you’re talking to. Leave everything to SkullBalushimon!

Koh: H-Hey, Nepet! H-How’s it going? I-I haven’t asked any favors of
SkullBalushimon! Yup!

(OK Koh, you are the worst protagonist ever.)

SkullBalushimon: So, Koh…Wanna start heading to Center Bridge?

Koh: Y-Yes…Let’s go…Well…Nepet, we’ll be on our way to Center Bridge…

Step 3: Koh and Baluchimon’s plot? Go to Center Bridge

GranDracmon: I wonder what the other side is doing right now?

Gaiomon: Most likely waiting for the order to move in…

Light Fang Researcher: Defeat…Night Crow…

Gold Tamer Boy: All is for…Light Fang…

Silver Tamer Girl: Night Crow is…an instrument of evil…

Bronze Tamer Boy: DigitalCITY belongs to Light Fang…!

Gaiomon: Mercurimon! Make sure you don’t let them get in! Understood?!

Mercurimon: No worries, boss! My lock program is great, as usual. I think…
-over with SkullBalushimon and Koh with Nepet watching-

SkullBalushimon: OK! I’ve succeeded in rewriting their access program! I’m a genius! I impress myself.

Koh: Can we change it anytime now? Now, I’ll go back to SunshineCITY and wake Chief Glare and the others up! Hold on!

SkullBalushimon: It was easy to tweak Koh’s digivice because it was originally registered in SunshineCITY. At any rate…The Union’s security isn’t that secure…No…I’m just great!
(Did the translation team really just do that? I know it’s a key item called Koh’s Digivice but that means he doesn’t need to say it like that to Koh. Nobody talks like that ever.)

SkullBalushimon: Nepet! Were you there the whole time?!

Koh: I just want to get everyone at Light Fang back to normal. That’s why I want to get back to SunshineCITY!

SkullBalushimon: But Koh, can you fight against Chief Glare and Ophanimon? When you do fight them, you’re going to have to win!

Koh: I know…When you say it like that, I don’t know…Nepet…Will you go instead?

SkullBalushimon: Koh! Are you sure? Nepet is strong…I think that would be our best bet, but…
(I know I told you you suck but are you sure?!)

Koh: Yeah, I’m sure. In order to save everybody, we can’t afford to lose! Nepet, please! Take my place! Chief Glare is strong…but I’m sure you’ll be able to beat him!

SkullBalushimon: Nepet…Do it for me also! So it’s decided…Nepet will go…Koh, give your digivice to Nepet. It’s needed to go to SunshineCITY.

Koh: Take good care of it!

Koh: Nepet, good luck!

SkullBalushimon: Nepet, just one thing. You can’t use a GateDisk from
SunshineCITY to come back. So be prepared before you go!

Step 4: Got Koh’s digivice! Go to SunshineCITY

Knightmon
Knightmon is an incredibly strong Digimon that can wield its sword while wearing heavy armor. Some say it wears the armor to restrain its power. Knightmon is deeply loyal and will serve its master faithfully. Knightmon usually cameo in the anime in some form or another.

Piximon
Piximon can somehow recite programming language making it able to perform “magic”. It can pop up anywhere in time and space and can seal away the power of others. It loves mischief and can make computers run wild. Piximon was in the anime and was one of the first fatalities near the end of the first season.

(Go to the orange teleporter and then the purple portal and you will appear near a crowd of Light Fang waiting to attack. Ignore them and enter SunshineCITY. SunshineCITY has everything in the opposite direction of DarkmoonCITY so be aware of that. Go around the CITY, talking to the Tamers you encounter and fighting them. After the fight with Kenpa, you will get the MasterID. Use it to enter the Union Room)

Tonpei at Shine Hall, Team=Megadramon
Tonpei: Koh, ID confirmed…Koh…Comparing…Incompatabile…Critical error…Emergency purge initiated…

-after fight-
Tonpei: …Koh? …Nepet? …ugh…uggh…I don’t know…

Cheetah at Shine Plaza, Team=JumboGamemon

Cheetah: Koh, ID confirmed…Koh…Comparing…Incompatabile…Critical error…Emergency purge initiated…

JumboGamemon
JumboGamemon is a Digimon partially derived from Gamera. It added beam cannons to its entire body until it compromised the strength of its metal body. This is the final Digivolution of Mogri. It also appeared in the fifth season of the anime.

Cheetah: …Koh? …Nepet? …ugh…uggh…I don’t know…

Kenpa at Shine Square, Team=Silphymon
Kenpa: Koh, ID confirmed…Koh…Comparing…Incompatabile…Critical error…Emergency purge initiated…

Silphymon
Silphymon is derived after the slpyh and has a design blending Aquilamon and Gatomon. This is because it is a DNA Digivolution of Aquilamon and Gatomon in the games and the second anime season, which Silphymon was featured in.

Kenpa: …Ugh…Aah…Koh? …No, Nepet? …Take this…

-Nepet got MasterID!!-

Kenpa: …You can…enter… the Union Room……with this…But…be careful…Chief Glare is……Aaahh! …No…Stop…My head…Scan data…Check…check……Error…zero……status…Wait…

MetalGreymon
MetalGreymon is a Greymon that mechanized over half of its body. To evolve to MetalGreymon it must beat all of its foes one after another. MetalGreymon is said to have the offensive power of a nuclear warhead. MetalGreymon was the Ultimate in the first season after the repercussions of SkullGreymon were dealt with.

Step 5: Final Battle?! Go to Union Room in Sunshine

OphanimonC: to begin attacking DarkmoonCITY…

Glare: Ophanimon, it’s not time yet.

OphanimonC: Why?! We’ve gathered all the Light Fang Tamers we need at Center Bridge! What else do we need?

Glare: The protect program…installed on Center Bridge is blocking the delete command of the Chaos Block…Our attack team will not be able to enter DarkmoonCITY at this rate…

OphanimonC: …Is that Tamer interfering again? –Nepet enters- So, it is you! Impressive you made it this far…Real Being…

Glare: You Real Beings are an unnecessary existence in the Digital World…

OphanimonC: So, you must be deleted! We Chrono Data are the ones that control the evolution of Digimon! Be gone, Real Being!

OphanimonC
OphanimonC is Ophanimon with the Chrono Core added to her. This is a fiery version of Ophanimon. This form has only appeared in this game.

OphanimonC: No…At this rate…Argh…No…Ophanimon’s…consciousness…

Glare: Ugghh…My…My head…

Ophanimon: Ugh…Get out of……my body!

OphanimonC: Don’t think…You can escape…our power.

Ophanimon: Get out! I am Ophanimon!

ChronoCore: Curse you…Ophanimon! You escaped our power…

Ophanimon: I…I am… Ophanimon! Nepet, you okay? I’m sorry…Glare, wake up!

Glare: …Huh? What was I doing?

Ophanimon: Glare, you and I were both being manipulated!

ChronoCore: Our great plan is already in its final stage…Nepet…Real Being, if you want to stop us, then pursue us…We’ll be waiting for you deep inside Chaos Brain…

Glare: What… was that?

Ophanimon: I don’t know…But…there’s no doubt the Digital World is in danger…

Glare: Nepet, thank you for saving us from a dangerous situation.

Ophanimon: Since you were able to inflict damage on him, I was able to break free from his control…Nepet…Thank you!

Glare: Ophanimon, we should head to Chaos Brain also! We can’t just sit and do nothing!

Ophanimon: No…Glare, We’d better not…I’m sure we’d only get in Nepet’s way…

Glare: Yes, it’s hard to admit, but you’re right…

Ophanimon: Nepet…We’ll leave everything to you.

Glare: Nepet…We have no choice but to leave everything in your hands! You must defeat him! Here, take these…There’s only three left, but take them with you…
-Nepet got FullRepairT- (The Full Restore equivalent.)

Ophanimon: The two of us will defend the entrance to Chaos Brain…Nepet! It’s all up to you!

Step 6: Defeat ChronoCore! Go to Chaos Brain
(Once you enter Chaos Brain, do not climb the ladder and instead take the other path. On the next ladder, climb down it and go into the more northern path. Go through that path and enter the portal. After the next screen when you exit the portal, the final boss battle will begin)

Datamon
Datamon is used for restoring broken and infected data. He does not work well with people. A virus destroyed his logic circuit run wild. Datamon was a powerful, mad-scientist like minion in the first season to Etemon.

Ebemon
Ebemon was a captured and modified Vademon in Area 51. It is said that the USA is researching Digimon to control the Digital World. He has appeared in the games and the sixth season of the anime.

Andromon
Andromon possesses fighting strength that can defeat Digimon below Ultimate in one blow. It was developed as a prototype for cyborg Digimon. This means it has no will or emotion and is faithful to its programmed behavior. Andromon was an important side-character in the first season of the anime.

MetalMamemon
MetalMamemon will give you a terrible experience if you underestimate it. Nine-tenths of its body is mechanized. He is mostly a monster of the week or cameo Digimon.

Clockmon
Clockmon is the Digimon that governs the timers of computers. It manages the time and space of all computers and it can advance and rewind time when it’s between 1900 and 1999 which means it will be neutral in all conflicts. Clockmon was in one episode of the third season of the anime, was redesigned for the sixth season and most are in the games.

Ghoulmon
Ghoulmon is designed after the angel of death Samael. It is also one of the fallen angel Digimon. However despite that it is neutral and not purely evil. When the final battles comes it will become a god of destruction. He is only in the games.

ChronoCore: Heheheheheh…The time has come! The time is here to finally be complete! By using the digi-entelecheia collected from all the Digimon, now the ultimate Digimon will be born…

ChaosGrimmon: My body is overflowing with energy! This is indeed complete power! Haahahaha! Nepet, you made it…Why was a Real Being like you, able to defy us who are like gods in the Digital World? We still do not understand. But no matter. Now that ChaosGrimmon, the perfect Digimon is born, no one can get in our way! Perish Real Being!

ChaosGrimmon
ChaosGrimmon has only been in this game and is the fusion of the Chrono Core with Grimmon.

ChaosGrimmon: How…! How can we lose…To the likes of you?! Wh…What’s this?! No…It can’t be! Aaaaarrrgghh!

ExoGrimmon: Heheheh…So this is digivolution…Magnificent…I never knew the ultimate digivolution was this amazing…Now prepare to receive the ultimate Chrono DSR capable of destroying the Digital World! –launches it making Nepet fall asleep- Heheheheh…Even you won’t be able to defend yourself…Chrono DSR degrades and destroys all data in the Digital World…This next blow will erase your existence from the Digital World…But don’t worry…Soon all the Real Beings on this server will follow your fate. Then all the Digimon…We will make the Digital World itself perish! That is our goal! That is the reason for our existence! Now, perish before us! Chrono DSR! –Nepet survives a second- Wh…what?! Why won’t you perish?! –a glow comes from Nepet’s heart and it cuts to everyone in Darkmoon CITYs Union Room-

Koh: Nepet! You can do it!

Newton: Nepet! We’re all rooting for you! Come on now! Nepet! Get up! Get on your feet!

Dorothy: What’s the matter, Nepet! Are you giving up already?

Julia: Get up! Nepet! Show them what the Night Crow have got!

ChaosGallantmon: Don’t give up! Nepet! You can win! I know you can!

–Nepet wakes up-

ExoGrimmon: What?! …How?!

ExoGrimmon
ExoGrimmon is only in this game as well.

ExoGrimmon: …I…have…lost. –dies, leaving the ChronoCore-

ChronoCore: …It…appears that our plan ends here…Grimmon could not……withstand Chrono Data……If only Chronomon…were here…-ChronoCore goes away into the sky and the screen fades to black-

(And that was the main story in Digimon World Dusk! First off, the ChronoCore was a reference to Chronomon, the final boss of Digimon World DS, the prequel to this game. Secondly, this credits sequence became kind of sad because of the way I played through this game. Where Nepet is walking, it’s supposed to be a parade of all the Digimon you currently have which can number a decent amount. I have 8. Would have been 7 if not for Allomon. My final thoughts will be done after a post-story mission.)

(After the ExoGrimmmon fight, Skully learned a 3-zone attack with 101 effect per zone making it exteremly strong against multi-zone bosses.)

(After the credits this and one more scene plays as a epilogue scene of sorts.)

Newton: Good work! I know you could do it!

Dorothy: Yeah, right Newton! Now you say that!

Newton: Wh-what do you mean?! I knew he could do it! Nepet, you did it! You’re amazing!

(HE?! Again, game!? There’s not even a script difference if you pick a boy or girl?!)

Dorothy: Really! I’m so amazed, Nepet…I actually saw you fighting!

Koh: That’s right! I don’t know how…But we all saw you inside our hearts! And…when that powerful attack almost finished you, that’s when we were all cheering for you! Did you hear us?-Nepet nods-

Newton: Really, you did? Really? That’s amazing!

Julia: So, is everyone alright? Nepet…you did very well! You saved everyone!

Glare: Yes…You not only saved us Light Fang, but also the Union and everyone on this server. Thank you!

Ophanimon: You’re the savior that saved both SunshineCITY and DarkmoonCITY! Thank you so much!

ChaosGallantmon: Nepet, Thank you! You saved me a number of times…Darkmoon and Sunshine…DigitalCITY is saved.

Julia: So as a token of our gratitude for saving CITY…Nepet, we want to give you this!

-Nepet got Cosmo Medal and Moon Sword!!-

Julia: This is a one of a kind medal and sword on this server…They’re very special items that existed before DigitalCITY was built.

Glare: Yes…That’s why we want you to have it…As symbols to show that you are the Tamer that save CITY… [sic]

Julia: Heheheh…Nepet, We’re going to continue to count on you!
(After this we fade to black again and wake up in our DigiHome)

Phascomon: You’re awake. Good morning Nepet! You were so popular yesterday. Everyone in CITY was praising you. Everyone was even telling me how great my Tamer is! I was so proud <3 Oh yeah, After you went to sleep Chief Julia called to tell you to get your reward at the Quest Counter. Keep striving to become a better Tamer.

Step 7: Receive a reward at the quest counter
(Plot Mission 10 complete! Reward=195 Tamer Points, 37185 bits and a Platinum Blade)

(This is the Moon Sword we also got. That stat boost is actually far too low for a level requirement that high. A level 20 sword gives a boost of 30. A boost of at least 60 would make me appreciate this sword more.)

(Now for one more Digivolution and the stats of my party at the very end of the game.)

SaberLeomon
SaberLeomon is a Digimon designed after the Smilodon or “saber-toothed tiger”. It is said to be able to travel at Mach Speed. With its speed it can easily dodge attacks. Its fangs and claws make it very destructive. SaberLeomon was a Digivolution of the Leomon in the first season making him an important supporting character.

Next time:
(There are two Union Quests after the ExoGrimmon fight. However since the one after this requires me to have used multiplayer and connected with someone else I will not be able to show that. This will be the final mission of the game. Thank god for that.)

I always wanted to be a Blastoise when I grow up.

Mamemon is known as the Smiley Bomber. It is normally bewildered and has a lovely appearance but it has a lot of power. Its hands are very powerful bombs.
That doesn't seem very... practical.
