Ridiculously LTTP, but I wanted to say:
I actually did this back on the NES in the rudest possible way. Eight-year-old Vega got the game for Christmas and his Jewish friends came to visit on a non-Jewish holiday, but instead of giving them his full attention, Eight-Vega mostly continued to grind for this shield. He was familiar enough with adventure games to know that the shop was out of place and that there were plenty of other shops in the vicinity to get sanely priced gear, but Eight-Vega wanted to grind just because the game let him, and lacked the Sawyer-cunning to convince the kids among the guests to do the grinding for him. |

The year I read Tom Sawyer as a kid was a bad year for my friends.

Quote:
(Seriously, though, really nice job here, Octo. I never made it past the first area of this game, even after I bought a Game Genie. The play controls really are terrible. But now I feel like I've seen it all, and am glad I didn't spend many, many hours of my life on it!) |

This is going off topic, but what did you convince them to do and how did you do it?

Let's hold that discussion for Octo's LP of Squaresoft's Tom Sawyer!

To be perfectly honest more of that year was caused by reading a book about a kid's brother who was a con man. So less happy about painting fences and more petty gambling.

Oh my god that game is horrible.
Have fun! |
