Every character on the show is awful, but something about Greg's raw, sniveling opportunism makes me want to kick him in the teeth any time he says anything.

Greg is the comic relief character so he is the one who the writers have done the least work to make empathetic. Succession is good because all of the characters are funny assholes, it's great because you can see the humanity underneath without letting you forget they're still assholes.

He's definitely done the least harm to society of anyone on the show, and on that scale it's tough to argue with Logan.
