What is the best tweet

Violentvixen

(She/Her)
Yeah, I'm trying to puzzle out how the first four are related to popcorn or physics or bombs or honestly even each other and am stumped.

Lady

something something robble
They are just the previous ai images that he posted. he posted the popcorn in response to keep the thread organized. otherwise, each response would devolve into hundreds of sub threads. It seems to be the twitter equivalent of a mega thread

jenny is trans, doing her usual bit of making fun of transphobes

(also 9/11 jokes barely register as gauche or "too soon" for a lot of folks these days)

That's good to know, because if you have no idea who the author is, it just looks like straight up transphobia.

Also, "a lot of folks'" experience of 9/11 was that it happened on TV, very far away from them. I don't know if that includes you. For people from New York, it was something that happened to us. And for us, even if you didn't personally know someone who died, you most likely knew someone who did. I don't typically go in for pearl-clutching (and honestly, the perceived transphobia is what bothered me more than anything) but I don't appreciate you casually dismissing that, even if it was 20 years ago.

Granted: I may have seen that tweet right after seeing my social media full of people mourning their friends and family, which is not anything anyone else would know and typically would not matter here. But I think my point remains.

While I raised an eyebrow at the tweet before getting context as well (for much the same reason), I didn't read that as RT-55J casually dismissing what happened, but providing an earnest assessment of how a number of people tend to treat the matter today.

I don't know about this Jenny person, but there are adults out there now who were born well after 9/11 occurred.

Yeah, sorry. Sometimes I don't think of what a tweet like that will look like out of context. As stated, Jenny Tightpants is trans, but I think this tweet was also a response to a tweet from earlier in the day by some chud basically saying that trans and nonbinary people's trauma doesn't actually exist because 9/11 happened and was bad.

If being stupid was a crime, I wonder if so many people would still do it.

Thanks, you're good. I appreciate the extra context about the garbage she was responding to.
