What is past is prologue: Gargoyles live again!

Hey, I don't know if you heard, but 1,000 years ago, superstition and the sword ruled. It was a time of darkness, fear, and some winged dudes and ladies. They were stone by day, warriors by night, and betrayed by humans they had sworn to protect, like, all the time. They were frozen in stone by magic for freaking ever, but now the spell is broken, and they live again! Huzzah!

So anyway Gargoyles Live-Action Movie In the Works From Director Kenneth Branagh.

Let's talk 'bout 'dem 'gargs.

Less interested than when Jordan Peele was involved. Still, hoping for the best. Have no idea who would make a good Goliath. Lot of great actors I can think of but no one can replicate Keith David's voice.

Maybe he could still provide the voice but someone else could do the motion capture?

Maybe but I doubt it. Again, I can think of some great actors for the role but I'm having trouble thinking of a different voice.

Also, I hope the film has a ton of contemporaneous Star Trek actors.

Gargoyles creator Greg Weisman has denied reports that a live-action movie was in the works with Sir Kenneth Branagh tapped to direct. Weisman responded to queries about the film on Twitter, where he stated, "I'm thinking... that it's flat-out not true."
