Video Game Genre Mash-Ups that Need to Happen

Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
Stealth Farm Life Simulation - Some loveable idiot buys a farm next to you, a ninja/spy/cobbling elf. You want to help them but don't want them to know they aren't doing it right so you do it for them or give them subtle clues on how to do it correctly.

gogglebob

The Goggles Do Nothing
(he/him)
I want WarioWare + Fire Emblem. Tactical RPG "board" and troop manipulation, but every encounter is not determined by levels, random chance, or a "weapons triangle". Different units initiate different "microgames", and you've got ten seconds to parse out that wizards lead to tiny shoot 'em ups, or archers only get a hit if you can complete a little targeting challenge. "Special moves" give you an advantage as they initiate minigames that are more practiced and less random.

I admit that I would have to be the in exact right mood to play something like that, but I know I would enjoy it in those instances.

Felicia

Power is fleeting, love is eternal
(She/Her)
Horror space flight simulator. You know that it's just an empty vacuum out there... and yet, you can swear that you hear something crawling on the outside of your tiny, claustrophobic space fighter. You try to contact home base, but only get static, occasionally interrupted by screams and laughter.

RT-55J

space hero for hire
(He/Him + RT/artee)
Thrust + Crazy Taxi is an elevator pitch that's been on my mind for a long, long time.

Granted, the version that exists in my head has you being a bad cop instead of a taxi driver (because Games Must Have Gun's), but the basic idea of rapidly racing to various points of interest is still there.

I want WarioWare + Fire Emblem.
Your description sounds vaguely like the game Archon from the 80s.

I love Sayonara Wild Hearts, this high octane musically driven rail QTE thing, and think it's approach would be great for other series. I want Kirby's Wild Air Ride and Sayonara Sonic Hearts; thrilling roller-coasters focused on speed and spectacle with no messy "level design" to get in the way.

ShakeWell

Slam Master
(he, etc.)
I still want a pro wrestling Musou game. WWE or AEW or NJPW. I don't care. But at this point, probably AEW because I want to be able to make Claudio Castagnoli grab a dude in a giant swing and smash like 700 other dudes over the horizon with that first dude.
