Previously we had a dome that determined which song most makes you wanna drive fast. But this time let's ease off the gas a little and celebrate the last lazy days of summer (and similar days from the rest of the year) by determining our favorite cruising music.

The qualification is simple - it's any music that makes you want to go cruising (on land) or is good musical accompaniment for when you are cruising.

You can nominate up to four songs here by providing links (not embeds). Songs that have won previous domes will not be permitted. Nominations will be open through Tuesday August 30th.

In my mind, there's a clear distinction between "road trip" cruising songs, and "driving around at night feeling moody" cruising songs, so I split the difference and nominated two from each category. In the former category, I consider the album Graceland to be the ultimate road trip album. Any number of songs from that album could have made the cut, but the titular song is the one that plays in my head when I think of the Platonically ideal road trip.
