Fearful asymmetry
Progressive rock musician Vangelis, who went on to greater success as a composer of film soundtracks, died a couple days ago at the age of 79. I wasn't a huge huge fan, but I certainly appreciated his contributions to Blade Runner, which remains one of my favorite movies of all time.

The soundtrack to Blade Runner is an important part of why the movies gives me a strange feeling, difficult to put into words, whenever I watch it. It's a feeling I associate with cyberpunk in general, but especially with Blade Runner.

He really did define what cyberpunk sounds like. Incredible legacy.
