William Friedkin, the director of The French Connection and the Exorcist, has dead to day due to heart failure and pneumonia.

I like those two famous movies but the two I like more are his flops; Sorcerer, his ambitious take on Wages of Fear and To Live and Die in LA, which extremely dark cop drama.



He also made a really good psycho-thriller in the early 2000s called Bug, about a lonely man and a lonely woman as they slowly get caught up in the man's paranoid fantasies.
