Power Up Baseball: The Video Game History Foundation Unearths Midway's Baseball NBA Jam

The VGHF has found and compiled what appears to be a complete (or nearly complete) version of Midway and Incredible Technologies' baseball answer to NBA Jam. It always seemed weird that we got basketball (NBA Jam), football (NFL Blitz), hockey (Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey) and even pro wrestling (WWF Wrestlemania) from Midway, but never a baseball game. Well, turns out, we almost did.

This thing is really cool, and I really want to play a set up with the dual track balls.

Yeah, it looks super cool. Really interesting how they just couldn't get the structure of baseball to work with the economics of the arcade.

Yeah, paying per inning seems a touch excessive. But other baseball games have managed it. Most Neo-Geo baseball games just gave you time per credit.

Wow, that's awesome. Reminds me a bit of Baseball Simulator 1.000, except with that NBA Jam/MK flair.
