Games for Children - There are No Small Parts, Only Small Players

So I have a niece and she has a couple board games for young kids learning the nature of games. You know, everyone can win and work together and the like. She's about to turn five. What kind of games would anyone who knows such things recommend. Currently she has "Hoot, Owl, Hool", "Snug as a Bug in a Rug" and "Friends and Neighbors". Anything that can help her recognize letters and numbers, something she is improving at but still needs help. Something phonics based would be cool, too.

Kids love physics and dexterity based games. Mine love Loopin' Chewie, so much that we're down to 2 of the Stormtroopers discs. My son just turned 5, and loves to play War, Old Maid, and Go Fish (his decks are Paw Patrol themed, but any poker deck works).

We have Klask, which is an awesome 2-player tabletop foosball-ish game that's both fun for kids and adults. Try to knock the soccer ball into the opponent's goal by using magnetic strikers, all while trying not to get two of the little white magnet marshmallows/biscuits on your striker. My 5yo can have a good run and get close to taking me out.

Guess who is my 5 year old’s current favorite. Not much of a learning tool, although I make her actually read the name of the person she is guessing rather than just show me the card at end.
