Crowdsourcing Conventions, Expos, and Large Public Events - Hopefully this can happen 2021, definitely by 2022

I was hoping that the Portland Retro Gaming Expo would be happening this year but it's been rolled over into 2022. Is anyone aware of an expo or convention that is happening this year and that you would like to attend or you think others here might? (You know once you've got your vaccines.)

Behind-the-scenes scuttlebutt is that DragonCon is looking to do a "hybrid" event this year with a reduced in-person event (normal years are so packed they violate fire code, nevermind post-pandemic people-spacing guidelines) supplemented by an online event, but they haven't made any official announcements yet, so exactly what that looks like (and what the options are for existing ticket-holders from 2020) isn't clear yet.

So it turns out I'm actually looking at attending DragonCon in a couple months - my ticket is rolled over from last year and they're not rolling over again, and I can drive to it. What I really need to do is find out what the heck the situation is with my rolled-over Hilton hotel room, which I'm not looking forward to - the main hotels usually handle DragonCon using a system separate from their normal booking, so your chances of managing to speak with anyone who knows what they're talking about is generally low. Since my usual roomies aren't going this year, my partner and I may just get a nearby AirBnB for it, in which case I'd love to roll the hotel reservation to '22 if possible but I'm not holding my breath that they'll allow it - and if not I don't know if there's any way to keep my priority booking status which normally rolls from year to year, and space at the con hotels can be super hard to get if you don't have the rollover so it'd be painful to give it up. Gah.
