Didn't think about it before, but Terra Tower honestly looks more a like space ship of some kind than a tower. Keeping true to Chrono series final dungeon design.

Beat it on my lunch break. Sucks that Square Enix can't be arsed to give the extra love and care for remakes of games whose's devs have left the company to make them the definitive editions, but in the grand scheme of things this is a serviceable port.

Having played through Radical Dreamers now, I think the whole "daughter-clone" thing with Kid may be an issue of just being lost in translation (wouldn't be the first time Square misused clone in English translations during the PSX era). Daughter-clone makes me think a copy of, but still wholely distinct entity from Schala, whereas I think the concept is more likely that Schala splintered into multiple fragments: one remaining in the Time/Dream Devourer, one de-aging and becoming Kid much like in Radical Dreamers, and possibly a 3rd piece being used by the Dragon Gods to make Harle. Thinking of it this way the ending makes more sense (relatively speaking...)

As for the extra bit for beating both games, it's fairly minor. It's just a bit of flavor text that could ambiguously apply to either Magil or Guile, hinting further at a retcon of Guile being Magus.

Started this up. Had to immediately change graphics to classic or whatever. I'm sure the repainting are good, but I was just too jarred. No regrets.

Beautiful game about everyone having unreciprocated crushes. I chose Pierre this time, only ever did that on my aborted NG+ run on a Vita years ago. Also went the save-Kid route for the first time since my first time playing this. Razzly's nice... Also evolved Pip for the first time ever; I was always too intimidated because he's buggy but of course I know that doesn't matter. Only appearance and speech gimmicks matter. Sorry to still be disappointed that his stats are glitchy, I know I should simply accept and rejoice in weak characters with good vibes, but I can't help but think "what if... his stats functioned properly?"

Going Pip-mode (Pip second in the team, getting all the supporting dialogue) is highly recommended though. When he's gravely reacting to events... aw.
