You know what? I found another video of it and I'm pretty sure that is how they're interpreting the secondary mode of function where it ducks down or puffs up its mane. A bit of a stretch but I at least will buy it.

If all the things that Bob Mortimer has said were true on WILTY? really are true, then I can only conclude that he projects some kind of reality-distortion field. He’s not living in quite the same genre of universe as the rest of us.

Nice to see Bob getting some recognition on here, particularly since the humour of Vic & Bob is not something that has ever really travelled outside of the UK (thinking of the youtube video of bemused Americans reacting to "Shooting Stars").

Worth watching if you haven't seen it is Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing. It's a surprisingly touching program that happens to have fish in it.
