I heard. That's, like, a story. I need to know things. I NEED TO.

He's as nice as you'd expect, right? Like, total class act?

Background: his daughter is a second grader at a local school, and the student's teacher recently got her graduate degree. The Reinhold family decided to have a little surprise party for the teacher. They invited her students and her friends. My wife is one of her friends. When the teacher arrived, they held a little mock graduation ceremony for her, complete with cap, gown, and diploma, with Judge presiding over the ceremony ("I'll read the candidates in alphabetical order," was his crack, which got a laugh out of me) and his wife hosting.

After the "ceremony," the kids each got up on stage in turn and read a thank-you note to the teacher. It was incredibly sweet and also totally out of the blue for the teacher, who didn't go to her own actual graduation ceremony. She was completely over the moon.

As for me, I only briefly met Reinhold's wife, but both of them do seem like total class acts.

Ron Eldard is my uncle. When he was dating Julianna Margulies I met her several times she could have ended up being my aunt.

But they broke up. It was mostly his fault.

That Judge Reinhold story is delightful.

This reminded me I have another entry for this thread as well - one of my partner's best friends since high school is apparently enough of a celebrity actress in China that staff at Chinese restaurants here often recognize her.

My family is possibly related to Marshal Michel Ney from the Napoleonic Wars.
One nugget that contributes legitimacy to this is my brother's resemblance.
