I like all of these ideas. I totally forgot that my guild in EO3 wound up being JackBros because that was all I could fit into the box, too.

Oh dang, I'm a bit late to the starting party. Are we still coming up with characters because I've got the perfect one--
Damn your eyes forever, Daikaiju. Fine, Arbalist #4, named Ziggy. |

There's room for thirty characters in the guild. While I will almost certainly be sticking to a main group (plus maybe a farmer), I'll see about getting everyone at least some time on the air.

By a farmer, I assume you mean "a group of 5 farmers" yes?

Consider: Only one submitted character so far is a Farmer.

I am going to strongly advise that any guild slots not filled by viewer suggestions go towards making a team of 5 farmers that you constantly keep the combat study skill up to date on.
This is the sort of thing that is best done before your first step into the dungeon. |

I dunno what kind of nonsense y'all got up to, but when I was your age, I subclassed my arbalist to farmer, and that was good enough for me! Y'all whippersnappers causing too much rannygazoo for your own good, dagnabbit...

Just use the names of the ship and characters from the manual, dude.

I don't have the manual! About all I could find is the picture of Wheels using Heavy Shot, and that doesn't show portraits!

From the manual:
Gahutsu is Wildling 2 Mazian is Ninja 1 Ironstag is Glad 1 Nodal is Pirate 3 Sheana is Prince/ss 2 In the promotional images, (Ample)Vigour is shown to be a Monk 3, but no other character is shown. |

I'll cast my vote for guild Error404, boat name Not Found.
And I love the idea of a team of farmers, but I'd also like to see the game in action for real. |

Update #1
Hie thee to the ocean city... To the Yggdrasil Labyrinth. A journey to the blue depths... To conquer the shadows of night. Though you know not what this means, you go towards Armoroad. What awaits is time's end; death's demise. A tempestuous dream... To push away the unfathomable dark and bring light to Armoroad... A stormy adventure begins... --- Guild Error404 Exploration Journal Day: Emperor 1 Entry 1 I'm finally here! The ocean city, Armoroad! It's bigger than I thought it'd be! But I'll have time to see the sights later. After all, I'm here because Armoroad's Senatus invited any and all who wished to try their luck with the fabled Yggdrasil Labyrinth, right next to town! They say no one's ever reached the bottom... But that's about to change! Everyone's gonna know my name as the one who conquered Yggdrasil! ...My name's Seri, by the way! Right then! Off to the Labyrinth! Entry 2 Stupid guards! "It's dangerous to go alone," they said! "You should register with a guild," they said! Hmph! I could absolutely handle myself, I'm sure of it! I bet they just think I'm a weak girl. Still, they say even veteran explorers meet their ends down there...maybe I'll go see what this 'guild' business is all about, at least. Entry 3 The guildmaster was really nice! As soon as I mentioned wanting to start a guild, he gave me a bunch of things! There's a guild certificate here (apparently this is kind of like a visa?) and a bunch of technique scrolls, though most of them require a partner to pull off. I guess that's encouragement to get a guild running! I chose the name "Error404" for the guild; it's an old phrase in my home country. I was surprised at all of the people hanging around the guild house, waiting for a guild. If you wanted to explore the Labyrinth, make a guild of your own! Still, it was a boon for me, as it meant a wide variety of explorers to draft into Error404. One man practically carried a wall on his shield arm! Another claimed to 'wield the stars themselves', but I must admit, I zoned out as he was explaining the details. Science isn't really my thing. When I was satisfied with all of the people in the guild, the guildmaster recommended that we stick to a group no larger than five for exploration. Any larger, and the narrow corridors would make it hard to stay together. Considering this, I selected a group that looked reasonably capable of working together. As we left, the guildmaster said we should stop by the Senatus next; he said they helped out starting guilds by giving them smaller goals to reach for while acclimating to the Labyrinth. The idea was sound, so we made that our next stop! Entry 4 When we got to the Senatus, an ol--I mean, experienced lady (remember your manners, Seri!) greeted us. She said she was in charge of the "missions" that the guildmaster had alluded to. She even gave us one: to map out the first floor of the Labyrinth! This should be a snap; I took cartography lessons, you see. Leaving the Senatus, we were about to head into the Labyrinth when Ziggy (one of the guild members) pointed out our lack of effective equipment. So instead, we stoped by an armory called "Napier's Firm" and equipped ourselves with what little ental we had before finally setting off! Entry 5 Wow, the Labyrinth is really pretty. I mean, I'd heard the stories, but it was something else seeing it for real! We met a guard near the entrance, who talked about how the Labyrinth was created from some sort of "Calamity" a long time ago. No one knows any details, though; not even about the Calamity itself. That seems like the sort of thing that people would remember, you know? Oh well, it wasn't an issue anymore, and especially not to us right now, when we had the Yggdrasil Labyrinth to explore! That exploration was short-lived, though, when we got into our first battle! Despite their name, these creatures were no more deadly than a rat, and were dispatched as easily. If this is the worst the Labyrinth has to offer, we'll be at the bottom in no time! There was a sign in another part of the Labyrinth, warning that 'not all roads lead ahead'. Like we need to be told that, unsourced comment! Another point seemed to have a nice place to rest, but we had a Labyrinth to explore! Plus, there was an even better resting place later, with nice-smelling flowers. We did take a moment to relax there, recovering from the strain of battle. It wasn't enough, though, when a lynx pounced on us! Before we could react, Ziggy had taken a fatal blow! The rest of the battle was fierce, with Gregor striking at the lynx, Ranko healing everyone who got hurt, Alexander using his shield to deflect some of the blows, and myself coordinating our defenses against this fierce enemy. Even so, the lynx hit me in a critical point before Gregor put it down, though I regret to say that I do not remember seeing the finishing blow. The other guild members carried us out of the Labyrinth after that, further exploration put on hold. They brought us to an inn which was, startlingly, run by a small girl, no older than ten, I imagine! There were doctors to see to my and Ziggy's wounds, thankfully; I fear for what could have happened had that battle taken a worse turn. The Yggdrasil Labyrinth is dangerous, indeed, but I, and the rest of Guild Error404, will conquer it! ...Eventually. I'm putting a copy of our map so far at the bottom of the page, so we'll be able to remember how far we've come the next time I write in this journal. |

I will probably be able to play more Saturday, but generally speaking, I'm going to be slow to update because of school.
This LP was not planned out very well (to wit: "rebelfire stop me from doing something stupid" "do it" "ok"). |
