I'm enjoying catching up on your LP.

It finally came to me, what your tower reminds me of.

P.S. - I hope you are playing with your cat; I understand it will run away from you if you don't pay attention to it. It would be so sad to lose your only cat that you waited so long to get!

I realize I'm making suggestions in videos from months ago and they may not be valid anymore, but hey, maybe they will be!

Hey, Fox, can I get your help with a stress test? I'm going to see what happens when I try to record stuff on Minecraft, wandering around Biscuitpunch, and chattering with you on Skype while it happens. My Skype ID is tyrmcdohl

Video came out great!

I should have it cut together in an hour or so.

EDIT:

And here it is!

That was pretty cool.

And the music selection was perfect.

Just saw the video with the secret treasure room. Very nice!

If I'm not too late, I can make suggestions for stuff to put there before you put it up for download.

Should have time as 1.3 won't be coming out for a couple more weeks.

So you're on hiatus until 1.3?

Nope, rendering episode 100 right now. On the other hand went in for some surgery last Monday and kind of killed my grove.

I'm finally up to date!

Every time I watch you or McDohl, I want to play my game.

Then I get horribly lost and quit :P

Then maybe it's time we team up for a video just for extra frustration.

Farewell, awesome tower. We shall miss you.

Don't forget the money bin idea in the new world! Also you should find a NPC village and then expand it.

Hey, Foxeris. Are you having chunk loading errors in 1.3.1 as well? Because I am, and I'm considering putting Roguecraft on hiatus until this annoying and glaring issue is resolved.

Forgive me for being a noob but what is a chunk loading error?

It happens when you play online more often than offline, but sometimes, chunks, or parts of chunks, will not render, leaving you with a big blue yawning void of nothing. As you get closer, the game will correct itself and render the terrain properly. It's all there, it's just not being rendered.

EDIT: Hm. It doesn't seem to be doing it now. Odd.

I've seen some slow loading chunks, but nothing as bad as when I was doing SMP.

Oh, and new episode uploading now.

A new episode is up: #127 - Urban Planing. I'm looking for some feedback on this one.

As always, I've been doing quite a lot on my video LPs without posting about it here, so let me provide a few recent video links.

Adventures in a Cubic World #140 - Redstone Science!
Adventures in a Cubic World #141 - (Not) Understanding Redstone
Adventures in a Cubic World #142 - Ending up in the End
Adventures in a Cubic World #143 - Fire Farming
Adventures in a Cubic World #144 - The Crushinator

And there is more Sam & Max on the way, plus a few other things in the works. I'm also planing to start up a new irregular LP video series in April.

Foxcutter, man, I love Cubic World, but your Redstone videos just confuse me.

This is ff7fanutah by the way :P

I didn't know it was you And part of the problem is that Redstone confuses me as well, so I have a hard time explaining it. Like the BUD effect (BUD = Block Update Detector) I know what it does, activates redstone when the block next to it updates, but that's all I know.

I wasn't really complaining, I just don't think I'll learn anything until I just mess with Redstone myself.

Figured I'd give you a bump since it's been a bit since your previous video, and you're almost to a milestone!

I'm pretty excited to see how your next trip to The End goes!

I suspect there will be a lot of dieing on my part, but you never know the armor kit I have is a bit overpowered. Of course I've only ever fought the dragon in creative...

I think your loadout is comparable to the kit I had going in to the Roguecraft finale.

And not to harsh on anyone involved, but I think, given enough time with that kit, I would have beaten the dragon regardless of Sovan or Silvers' assistance.

I'd just say that for advice about going about this:

1. DON'T PANIC.

2. Keep your field of view slightly elevated so that you aren't making visual contact with endermen.

3. Take ladders to scale the obsidian pillars. In the event you do aggro an enderman, you can crawl up the ladder, hold shift, and sword him safely.

4. Arrowing crystals is much safer and quicker than climbing the obsidian pillars, especially since the dragon can clip through everything, destroying every block except for obsidian and end stone.
