Oh, right. Hm. You could probably use something like this to download the videos off of Youtube if need be, though I'm not sure if we'll be hosting the actual videos on-site. We might though, I'll go ask Parish and let you know.

I could probably even just embed the videos on the actual wiki itself too, so people can watch them right off the site - maybe even moving them to Viddler for greater permanence. There's a lot that could be done, I think.

I'll go ahead and compile my LPs (Nethack and LotW).

However, I did all the writing with MS Word, and have no idea what a good way to convert that to HTML would be.

The former, which is about all we need really. It's not really a big deal if they're kept off-site just so long as we can make sure the videos don't get taken down, and putting them on Viddler or something along those lines should just about do it.

gmail apparently has a 25 meg attachment limit, and the RHEM screenshots are 140-some megs. I'll have to upload them and then provide you a link to the .rar, Pappy.

Any chance you could split them into 6 or so .rar files? Might be easier to send them piece by piece instead of trying to find a host.

So, I have all the screenshots for my "Small Worlds" micro-LP easily available as used in the thread. But it looks like someone already volunteered to scrape the entire micro thread, so I guess you don't need 'em? Let me know if that's not the case and I can zip 'em up.

Agh, a little late to this reply. Yeah, Foxeris already archived all of Small Worlds so I should be okay with 'em for now. Thanks though.

Anywho, I updated the first post with all the LPs that've been archived so far. Thanks to everyone who's helped out so far! I really appreciate all the time you guys have taken to help me out with this project, it's saving me a lot of time being able to delegate the task like this. You guys are super-great.

For my own personal ease (I don't have Microsoft Word or Open Office; I use Microsoft Word Processor), all of my updates are saved as .wps files.

Do I have to convert them to .doc?

It's still going! Parish and I are still working out how we're going to get all the images on-site, but otherwise we're pretty much good to go with this - I should be able to get to work archiving the threads later this week, and that'll be a snap.

If you guys want to get to work converting BBcode though, here's a reference to the code the site's wiki uses. PMWiki stuff is really simple to use, so a quick find-replace in a text editor should be able to convert everything quickly.

Man, I just don't even like my Pokemon Shiny Gold one enough to bother backing it up. Mostly because the creator of the hack was kind of a half-literate dick about everything.

Very slowly. Life's been getting in the way of finding time to pick away at it, but I'm still working on it tho! Either Final Fantasy B&W and NetHack will probably go up sometime at the end of the month, depending on which one I feel like working on next.

Image-wise, I think I've been going about it the wrong way; adding them to the archive first makes it easier to rip through each entry and sort them. Still, I really appreciate all the help I've gotten so far - I've got a whole ton of 'em on my desktop all ready to go. Juuuust need to send them to Parish now.
