I’m sure there will be. Sometimes it takes a while to show up.

Getting Steven Universe is always a mess.

Still no sub option in the wild yet, but the new episode is up on Disney's app.

How many of you caught what they did with the arrow trap?

Don’t know how iTunes works, but if you buy a season pass on Amazon, you get a refund for episodes you’ve already bought (as long as it’s a currently airing show).

I didn’t realize until Scrooge made the direct comparison that the nephews each exemplify a part of Scrooge’s self motto. Dewey is tougher than the toughies, Huey is smarter than the smarties, and Louie is sharper than the sharpies.

Man, Fethry's a deep cut.

I love the running gag of Launchpad having heroic adventures with old lovers off-screen.

Yeah LP's second life is a helluva running gag. Regarding Feathry, nice to see him finally get animated. I wonder if they'll keep the lore about his dad(granddad?) selling Scrooge the land for the Money Bin.

That was exactly what I was hoping Glomgold's backstory would be. Great synthesis of comic and cartoon.

Scrooge using the childhood event that motivated him as an excuse to shortchange someone is the most Scrooge thing.

That was great. Donald really makes this show. He and Scrooge bring out the worst in each other, which makes for fun times.

The upcoming Christmas episode sounds great:
Quote:
In a nod to Mickey's Christmas Carol, Scrooge avoids the pressures of the holidays by traveling back in time with a trio of fun-loving ghosts to crash history's greatest Christmas parties instead. Meanwhile, time-lost Dewey teams up with young Donald Duck to find his mom on Christmas.

I think the summaries for Ducktales and Doctor Who got mixed up somewhere in a hilarious accident involving bicycle couriers.

Yeah, that was incredible, and the cleverest idea the show has had yet. Probably up there with my favorite Scrooge stories of any medium. Plus it was absolutely packed with easter eggs and references. Bringing Russi Taylor in to voice young Donald is an inspired choice.

Some references I noticed behind the pop:

- The movie Christmas on Bear Mountain is a reference to the Donald comic of the same name which was the first appearance of Scrooge
- Square eggs from Plain Awful
- Captain Farley Foghorn from the Bermuda Triangle episode
- Donald's nickname for Della, "Dumbella," is Della's original name from the first Huey Dewey and Louie short
- Scrooge defeats Wendigo with a cane stomp yesssss
- The end credits illustrations are straight out of Mickey's Christmas Carol

I need to catch up with this; how much solid viewing will I need to do? I've seen, er, the pilot.

About 27 episodes, including an hour long season finale.

As for Last Christmas "When'd 'e go," is some solid monster wordplay.

The Christmas episode certainly was delightful. I’m not sure if I’m ready for young Donald as a quintessential, flannel-wearing 90’s kid, though.

I was so happy that I'd immediately caught on to that.

This episode was brilliant; an absolute treasure, worthy of the Bin.
