I thought Maple Moose won? If Perogie Platter actually won and is supposed to be sticking around for real then I got nothing to worry about.

Or is it not over yet? I'm not really following it all that closely.

If it's over, I've not heard about it. I thought it only just began?

Looks like it IS officially over now! And Maple Moose won.

Which is total BS because Perogy Platter is sooooo much better. :/

I remember a year or two back, Lays had a Balsalmic Onion flavored potato chip. They were pretty much the best chip ever invented and now they don't sell them anymore. Ah well. Better to have loved and lost, and whatnot.

Yeah, and dang. I was hoping to get another bag for reasons.

I guess this explains why I've not seen them around in a while. Then again, maybe that explains why they weren't selling, since that story came up today. =P

I should really check the food forum more often. I didn't know we had a potato chip thread.

As for my favorite flavor? Well...

Oh my. I've never seen those before but I'd buy a bag in a heartbeat. I love Tomato and Basil.

Ditto. Those look good for rainy days.

Only a matter of time before we have All-The-Flavors Potato Chips. Just toss 'em all in a single bag!

These are... terrible. Really awful. You shouldn't have any, you should give them to me. All of them. So I can safely dispose of them. in my tummy

So far that's the one I haven't been able to find.

Bacon Mac N Cheese was okay, but not the amazing thing I hoped.

I would love to review this batch as I did before, but the trouble/cost of getting them from the States is kind of prohibitive.

I wonder when Canada's will be decided...

I hate the wasabi ones, its like eating horseradish powder.

The mango salsa ones, though? Fruity goodness.

The cappuccino ones are okay. They taste like chips dusted with the cheap "just add water" cappuccino mixes. The first couple bites aren't great, but the more I ate them, the more I liked them

I dunno. Mango Salsa seemed so-so. Cappucino reminded me of Sweet Potato chips, only less sweet. The Wasabi Ginger are great but I didn't get as much of a horseradish burn as TheSL did. Anyone spot the Bacon Mac & Cheese?

Bacon Mac and Cheese was not very different from the Lays Cheddar Sour Cream to me.

The Canadian ones have hit the store shelves. I had a flavor idea in mind myself, I wish I knew in advance to submit it, maybe next year.

Anyway, us Canucks get Bacon Poutine (of course), Cinnamon Bun, Jalapeno Mac and Cheese, and Tzatziki.

So far I've only picked up a bag of Bacon Poutine and, eh, they're alright I guess. The gravy flavor is too strong, I can barely taste any cheese or bacon. But hey, if you ever wanted one of the single most unhealthy foods on the face of the planet in chip form, there you go.

Bacon Mac and Cheese sounds better than Jalapeno Mac and Cheese.

Personally, I didn't care for how the cappuccino flavor blends with the chips and I won't be buying another bag. But yeah, that's a pretty accurate description.

If I can still find 'em, I'll be trying out the Mango Salsa next week. Haven't spotted the others, but if I do I'll give 'em a shot.

I dig the mango salsa ones, they'd probably be super good with some kind of dip

Found the Bacon Mac. It's nice, but I prefer the Wasabi Ginger.

I recommend the spinach dip. It's way better than it looks and sounds.

Our local store had these so we decided to give them a try and we both enjoy them a Lot, way more than we were expecting. They are extremely weird for sure, but I like weird snacks. I really want to try the wasabi ones, but haven't seen them anywhere.

Yeah, I admit that when I went back to finish off the cappuccino bag a couple of days after that post they were better somehow. Not enough to buy 'em over other flavors, but still...

Just tried the mango salsa chips. First impressions are much more positive than they were with the cappuccino chips. Got a nice flavor to 'em.

I still haven't seen the wasabi ginger or bacon mac & cheese for sale at my local hellhole* Walmart. Might be at the less shitty Walmart a few miles farther away, though.

* Seriously, the closest Walmart we have is on a busy road with various restaurants and tourists from all over the world and each Wednesday is an ordeal** of navigating shopper obstacle courses, trying not to mow down dumb children, and idiots driving in the wrong direction in the parking lot.

** If I had my way, we'd go to the Target on the same road every week instead of once in a full moon. It costs a little more, but it's a much more pleasant shopping experience...because everbody's at fucking Walmart instead.

I didn't like the mango salsa ones. They tasted more like pineapple. Which is no bueno.

The mango salsa chips do make for a great dip chip.
