I had a friend in grade school with an NES Advantage, and for some reason he always called that the Nes (pronounced "Ness").

When the super NES came out, it was the Regular Nintendo.

When the N64 came out, it became the Old Nintendo.

Is it weird that I primarily think of Nintendo's 8-bit system as the Famicom and not the NES? Maybe it's because I didn't see one until I was 17.
