Seeing as how the last Actually Good Metroid game was released way back in 2004, I doubt Prime 4 will be worth a damn tbh, regardless who is making it

I hope I'm wrong though

There are two new joys the Switch added to the world:

1) Not being able to play a home counsel system hooked up to your TV because the battery is dead.

2) Licking a copy of Mario Odyssey.

Someone created a twitter bot dedicated to declaring all the games that should be brought to Switch.

I mean, who does that if it's not worth getting?

The best way to look at the Switch is as a portable that happens to also be playable on a TV. Like an easier-to-use version of the PSP, but with Nintendo IPs. If you can deal with the requisite sacrifices that some games have to make for that portability, then it's a great system. I certainly don't regret my decision to purchase one. I have found, however, that I don't play it religiously; there are gaps due to my having already experienced some of the games I care about on Wii U.

Now, if you skipped out on the Wii U, I think a very strong argument can be made for the system, regardless of portability. Especially if Nintendo, say, decided to bring over Super Mario 3D World.

The big titles for me on the system have been Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade 2, and Kirby: Star Allies. The last of those was... a'ight.

I mostly use it as a portable. Actually before the Switch, I wasn't able to really play console games very often because I didn't really have control of the television. It was far easier for me to play 3DS games and I was kind of out of luck when it came to console games. Now I can actually play console games since the console is portable. So perfect for me.

I attached a gooseneck tablet stand to my bed's headboard, and I put the Switch into it, and I looked straight up into the screen while holding the controllers in my hands at my sides.

It is, but I don't think I could ever do it, I'd feel too much like a character in some dystopian cyberpunk movie. And not one of the cool characters, but like the character who doesn't even get named, they're just the random guy who spends their one scene being distracted and zoned out doing something all weird-looking and cyberpunky so they don't even notice the villain sneaking up on them wearing a stylized red hazmat suit, and then the villain stabs them to death with, like, a USB drive or something, and then steals my cybernetic eyeball which he needs for his plans and the scene ends with him holding up my eyeball and saying something like "society is a wheel lubricated with the blood of those who don't know their place in it" and then he escapes the scene of the crime through the screen on his smartphone.

Also, from everything I've seen I think Mario vs. Rabbids might be the perfect Madhair game that isn't a platformer
