And Janet and Michael was probably the sweetest episode yet. Seriously, Ted Danson and D'Arcy Cardin deserve an Emmy each after this episode.

Still haven't seen this week's, but Michael's doodled solution to the trolley problem was one of the show's funniest moments yet.

I kind of have a crush on D'Arcy Carden, though I think that dates back to Broad City.

We lost it when Chidi got covered in gore the first time.

William Jackson Harper might have the best line readings in a series that's full of outstanding examples of them.

Motherforking wind chimes. Everything to do with that was hardest I laughed in a long time.

I really haven't been a fan of the relationship hijinks in these last few episodes. Just nothing funny or interesting about any of it. Every time the action shifts back to Tahani and Jason my eyes glaze over.

I'm actually really happy she got her two large duffel bags of cocaine as thanks for all the times she helped the Good Placers out.

I got a kick out of Jason’s story about his mom robbing a pet store. Long story short: it was all just a dream.

Given how right he was about it all being a prank show, hopefully that wasn’t a bit of foreshadowing. Seems unlikely. Way too easy for this show.

Great episode. Wow, that was an awkwardly timed use of "shirthole."

Husband and I started watching this a few weeks ago, and just got caught up today. It may be my favorite thing on TV, which is saying something since Steven Universe still exists. It's definitely the best farce I've seen since Arrested Development. I love how tightly-plotted it is, and how it refuses to stay comfortable for very long, throttling the story forward while still taking the time to sit with the characters for a while. It strikes a balance which is rare for a network sitcom.

We kind of expected the "you're actually in the Bad Place" twist, as that's not terribly surprising, but we were shocked when it shoved a whole season's worth of antics into two episodes,
and then flipped the script on the con
. It's a brilliant show, basically. And I'm surprisingly invested in the fate of these caricatures, as the stakes are literally as high as possible. My stomach was churning during all of episode ten.

Someone at the A/V Club comments mentioned that this show is the Wizard of Oz and now my mind is blown because Jeebus how did I not see that.

Yeah, that's pretty easy to see.
Eleanor = Dorothy (if she were an awful person)
Chidi = The Lion
Tehani = The Tinman
Jason = Scarecrow

But where's Toto? Also, I'm not sure how the demons would fit into that.

B story had all the great lines this week.

“That’s on you, frankly. A lot of those situations I took directly from Stephen King novels and episodes of Pretty Little Liars.”

I totally called fake bad Janet.

Golly, how's the gang gonna get out of this one, guys?

(This show's cliffhanger game is on point and it's torture having to wait like a normal person now)

Michael's definitely the Wizard, albeit one who's taking them to see an even more wizardly Wizard. Janet is Tik-Tok.

Toto was kicked into the sun.

To drive home the connection further, check out Eleanor's footwear (and her dress, for that matter):
