Lois: God, I can't believe we weren't more careful. This probably happened that night we tried role playing.

Lois: Oh, I need a spankin'. I'm a bad, bad girl.
Peter: I'm a Paladin with 18 charisma and 97 hit points. I can use my helm of disintegration and do one D4 damage as my half-elf mage wields his plus-five holy avenger.
Lois: Paladin's can't use the helm of disintegration.
Peter: Oh. Then, I'm a black guuuuy.

Besides, wasn't there that one BDSM gag a few years ago, and Lois was on top?

People can switch roles.

Also why are you analyzing the canonicity of Family Guy cutaway gags?

Is this where we discuss American Dad, then?

I don't really pay attention to behind the scenes stuff but apparently a longtime showrunner left at the beginning of this season? Well, I've still been loving it! I'm glad that American Dad is still very good and/or I am still very easy to please.

I can't seem to get it updated or something. Or is this like another country gets it, but US doesn't?

Its kinda crazy, but I forgot I made this thread.

I guess Cleveland Show would fit in here too, but I never watched it much. Now I catch it on Adult Swim now and then, but it's certainly a different beast than Family Guy and American Dad.

I liked it a lot, but I'm quite easily pleased with adult animation, apparently.

So since there is that Day of the Thread thing I dug this out since I just watched all the episodes so far this season.

I actually liked the episodes about Brian and his wife, even if cancer hits a little too close to home these days.

I think my favorite recent episode though was last seasom when everyone switched bodies.

I just learned that American Dad is leaving Canadian Netflix.

Well... at least the DVDs are probably really cheap

Been rewatching seasons 5-8 of American Dad since, as noted, the multi-pack seasons are super cheap on iTunes, and, man, there’s precious little I love as much as when the show looks like it’s going to be doing a generic 80s sitcom plot. Because you know the show is going to start swerving into some directions.

Additionally, any time Steve starts screaming or switching up his cadence weirdly, I am on the express train to Chuckle-Town.

“I believe I’ll take up swearing.”
*thoughtfully swirls wine glass for a moment*
“Fuck”
