It's pretty similar, but no, I don't think it's the same music.

I heard it, too. Not the same music, but some of the same sounds from that song.

Hey, hey. I've got a new one. It's time for punishment! Fortunately, playing most of these games is not actually punishment at all!

Capcom is also my favorite third party and I am really stoked to see where the rest of this series goes! A great start!

Very cool Fist of the North Star aesthetic to that game.

Yeah, it's definitely got that classic '80s post-apocalypse vibe.

Interesting. I am a big fan of the brain-based space shooter! Fleshy brain creatures and test-tube space babies are missing from modern games.

Agreed! What's up with the lack of weird bio-monsters in shooters these days?

I always suspected it must have been based on an existing property since the character designs had so much personality. Didnít know there was an arcade version too!

Cool and fun game, I really like the look of the high in the cloud stages.

Yeah, I didn't see an arcade cabinet of it until I was in my twenties. And I still haven't seen Area 88!

So, this one isn't *mine*, strictly speaking, but I'm in it, so I'm putting it here!

Oops! I slacked on posting the Halloween episodes here! It was a Makaimura Halloween for me!

First was OOG on the GnG Incredible Machine game:

Then Gargoyle's Quest II goes under the magnifying glass for SNDG!

Our old 2011 SNES game draft is back! It's been gloriously, uh... remastered? No, not really, the audio is the same (with a few minor edits), but now it's got some sweet 1080p game footage to go along with it!

New videos!

First, a new SNDG on the Three Stooges! Some of these ports are terrible! Flying Tiger used to be even worse at ports!

And the NES Draft Redux! It's... actually pretty different this time around, believe it or not.
