There was an episode of Batman Beyond about that.

Didn't end well.

Socks aren’t just for feet, okay? Okay, so you got a sock, what can you do with it? Well, you can make some cheese. You get a rat, you milk it, you boil the milk with a splash of urine, then strain the curd through the sock. BINGO. That’s a day’s worth of cheese already in its own cheese cloth.

It was only a matter of time before the soy-based feminization conspiracy was leeked.

I like to think that Libertarians watch A Christmas Carol in reverse every Christmas. That way, it is a tale of a old man who is hopelessly bad with money and being taken advantage of by all the freeloaders and rent-seekers in his community ridding himself of three phantoms of false thinking and becoming a rational man of business.

The Zelda games are a part of a narrative tradition more akin to Lord of the Rings and Das Rheingold — they’re steeped in mythology and all the archetypes that come with mythology. As such, there are some archetypes which perform certain functions and can’t simply be “swapped” around (as is suggested here in the article and comments). To do that would undermine the function they serve. Whereas a game like Mario is not really narrative and is more about play, Zelda does in fact seek to fulfill the larger role of mythology (from which it borrows its tropes and symbolism) — which is to educate. There is a REASON that Sahasrahla’s name is the same as one of the seven chakras of eastern esotericism (the chakras are energy centers within the human mind-body construct). There is a REASON that the power struggle is always between Link, Zelda, and Ganon (or his equivalent); and it is that the universe is quite literally comprised of three primary energies which are always falling out of harmony. That’s why every religion has a concept of the “divine trinity.” In Christianity, it’s the father, son, and holy ghost; in Kabalah, it is the Supernal Triad, which is represented by the triangle at the top of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life.

Anyway, this is all to say that the evocation of SJW value-signalling is an entirely inadequate criteria by which to judge the merit of gender roles in Zelda. They are based on ancient wisdom, which the sages of all cutlures and times have agreed about.

That is, somehow, a worse rebuttal than "what would link do"

You know, Tsu, all those awful things you said about sibling relationships... those are things people have said about same-sex relationships over the years too. That's it's disgusting, that they can't tell anyone about it, that they'll regret it, that it won't end well... yet there you are, being a jealous bitch because the girl who was once your girlfriend chose to be with someone else instead of you. You have no problem being in love with another girl, despite it being something many people would condemn, so why should either of these sisters give a damn what you think of their relationship?
I want to share the context, because it just makes it all the more ridiculous, but thread rules are thread rules

I’ll let you in on a little secret: when you get better at lifting weights you also get better at lifting everything else. The muscles can’t tell the difference! They’re fucking idiots!!!
