Shame you wasted that guess on your place for a movie and not on lottery numbers.

Were you carefully monitoring this for the screenshot? Thatís v. respectable. If you just doctored it or got lucky, also, great, whatever.

Iíve seen a lot movies this year and theyíve all been good. New Spider-Man was one of them.

I cried during the Stan Lee cameo, what the h*ck. It was good!!!

Of animated super films Iíve seen this year, a strong number 2. (Teen Titans GO! to the Movies was made for me)

Nah, this just happened to be my exact place in the waiting list the instant I placed my hold. Then I remembered my post and checked it and laughed, because I am a dumb nerd.

I know from past experience borrowing similar movies that I care precisely enough about to watch for free from the library several months after their disc release that there are basically always ~250 people ahead of me by the time I notice. So, it wasn't that great of a guess, to be honest. (I still thought it was funny.)

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a great time at the movies! Fun, funny and very stylish. I guess Sony can do some good with the Spidey license after all, much as it pains me to admit. I'm sure we'll see sequels and spinoffs aplenty, and I am there for them.

Cancel the MCU

Funnel all resources toward the Spider-Noir Universe

Good Things About Spiderverse:
- John Mulaney.
- Kingpin being the size of two taxi cabs and drawn with no neck.
- Spider-Man Noir being colorblind.
- All of the background detail during city scenes. ďTrust Us BankĒ being a notable stand out.
- Miles is a fan of Chance the Rapper.
- No Aunt May sexualizing.

Yes there is an end credits scene and yes it is great.

Default Excelsior, True Believers! The Mighty Marvel Movie Thread

Spiderverse was the best movie Iíve seen all year, superhero animated or otherwise. Not really a contest, either.

Agreed, Spider-Verse was delightful. It made really great use of the medium too. Every scene had a ton of energy.
