From the article:

Quote:
“THC breaks down completely by 392 degrees, therefore we will use both steam as well as a heat process that will expose the meat to 420-degree extended temperature (...)
I d9n't inow if it would be more amusing to me, or less, if that's not intentional.

Not Shuma-Gorath's best use of meter, but you gotta admit it was a pretty funny way to showboat against someone who really didn't deserve to be in the arena to begin with.

It's definitely intentional, and it honestly rings false to me. I'm pretty sure the mj you smoke burns at a much higher temperature, and it requires high temperature to even activate THC into something psychotropic. So it reads like a sales gimmick with a bs excuse.

From the "Oh shit, they thought we were serious?" File'

China’s Leaders Confront an Unlikely Foe: Ardent Young Communists

Quote:
Protests are common in China, especially by workers who have nowhere else to turn in a nation without independent unions, courts or news media. But the demonstrations in Huizhou were unusual because they were organized by students and recent graduates from some of the country’s top universities, who have generally stayed off the streets since the 1989 pro-democracy movement that ended in bloodshed outside Tiananmen Square.

In the decades since that massacre, university students have generally helped advance the party’s economic and political agenda, focusing on jobs, homes and other aspects of material well-being while supporting authoritarian rule, or at least eschewing politics. As economic growth has slowed, party officials have grown more nervous about Western influences on the nation’s youth, who are more worldly and digitally connected than ever before.

But the Huizhou activists represent a threat the authorities did not expect.

Carrying portraits of Mao and singing socialist anthems, they espoused the very ideals that the government fed them for years in mandatory ideological classes, voicing grievances about issues like poverty, worker rights and gender equality — some of communism’s core concerns.

Yeah, that reads like a "be careful what you wish for" on the part of the Chinese bureaucracy.

What if your phone had a robotic finger?

Smartphone with a finger crawls across the table to stroke your wrist

Quote:
Created by Marc Teyssier at the University of Paris-Saclay in France and his colleagues, MobiLimb looks like a mechanical finger, with knuckles that let it bend and beckon. The appendage plugs into the USB port on your smartphone or tablet and can be used as an additional way to interact with your device.

Emojis can be acted out, for example. A smiley in a text message is given extra nuance when the finger sticking out of the bottom of your phone reaches down to stroke the inside of your wrist. Or you can wiggle the finger from side to side and use it like a joystick.

Banksy artwork self-destructs moment after $1.4 million sale

Quote:
Geneva-based artist Pierre Koukjian, who was at the auction, said the buyer was “very lucky” to own a now-historic piece. He called Banksy’s prank “a turning point in the history of contemporary and conceptual art.”

Australians Declare Existential Crisis Over Onion Placement
Quote:
MELBOURNE, Australia — “This will ruin Australia,” declared a television news anchor.

It “Threatens to Tear Nation Apart,” read a headline on a popular news site.

The furor spilled onto social media too on Wednesday, as citizens decried an “outrageous” recommendation that would upend decades of tradition, and which at its core was declared “BEYOND ridiculous.”

The sausage sizzle is a sacred thing, and the Bunnings sausage one of its highest forms, second only to the democracy sausage and, arguably, the primary school fete. It may seem strange to outsiders, but it is our way.

That said, I’m totally on board with onions underneath.

Here’s a thing that happened to one of my friends. I was there.

Basically, we were walking down the sidewalk, talking about something meaningless. I think it had to do with a movie. Then this bus screeches up, stops next to us, and a bunch of people with “Down with Cis” shirts climbed out and
