I think I've actually seen this show. It's very possible it was on the local UHF station back in the day.

Cyril Sneer is incredibly familiar at least.

Back in the "run whatever we can license for the loose change we found the car" days of Nickelodeon, they had the Raccoons on constant rotation.

You could put footage of the A.D. Police getting torn up by Boomers to that song.

You can't just link that song and not show the actual music video that I just looked up:

Oh yeah, while Americans were learning the Thriller dance in their bedrooms we were all mastering Lisa Lougheed’s moves for the school dance.

It was last month but this is truly the place to put it. Art Bell, the original host of Coast to Coast and by far the most successful man in radio (seriously Welsh, Limbaugh, and others wish they could have pulled in the #s Art did) died.

If you are unaware of what Coast to Coast is/was. It's InfoWars without all the racism and conservative hysteria. Art accepted all theories/conspiracies. And listening to his show was often hilarious. While I'll miss him I'm a little more torn on how he legitimized and showed that pandering to the craziest among us is a successful business model.

The saddest part is that in the early 90s Bell's show was actually reasonable discussion about the issues of the day.

Then he met Whitley Streiber and discovered that Aliens=$$$$$$

I will always/only remember Art Bell for being the narrator in the original Prey, and for also kinda being the inspiration for Nightvale.

And while we got the other ten episodes, we also got them so often that the appeal dried up real quick.

Makes way, way more sense than a number of child-friendly adaptations I could name.

Weird as it is, this is also the first Warhammer thing I've seen that actually looks interesting to me.

I can't tolerate Warhammer, because it seems like it's satirizing fascist white fuckboy fantasies but is also only approachable to people with the money/time/space to inevitably be fascist white fuckboys.

I imagine that the only one of the Chaos gods they'd be able to encounter would be Tzeentch. Maybe Khorne, if he's somewhat toned down.

Redesign the phone horizontally then (hard to blame ordinary people for holding something the way engineers wanted them to hold it)

This is super true and a really fair point. I'm just saying maybe include a function that shoots a relatively intense electric pulse into the user's hand that forces them to contort it horizontally just before hitting record.

Here’s the Joe Biden/Barack Obama Murder Mystery Novel You Didn’t Know You Needed In Your Life

Quote:
The book, titled Hope Never Dies, is reportedly the first in a series of Obama/Biden mysteries. The New York Times describes it as “a roughly 300-page work of political fanfiction” (not a negative), with “Obama playing a cerebral, detached, analytical Holmes to Biden’s bumbling, impulsive Watson (give it to me!).

Hope Never Dies opens with Joe Biden, who narrates the story, jealously poring over paparazzi videos of Obama living it up on his grand celebrity-filled vacations. You can listen to an audio sample of the opening at Amazon or Audible. The narrator’s Biden impression is pretty spectacular.

Per the official synopsis, “Vice President Joe Biden is fresh out of the Obama White House and feeling adrift when his favorite railroad conductor dies in a suspicious accident, leaving behind an ailing wife and a trail of clues. To unravel the mystery, ‘Amtrak Joe’ re-teams with the only man he’s ever fully trusted: the 44th president of the United States. Together they’ll plumb the darkest corners of Delaware, traveling from cheap motels to biker bars and beyond, as they uncover the sinister forces advancing America’s opioid epidemic.”
