I was actually kind of excited to watch the video for this week to revel in the cheese, but man, that wore off fast.

Prior to recording this episode, my 6 month had not let me sleep more than two hours in a row for a while. I'm not sure if this is the episode we would have made for the Saved by the Bell theme without that, but this is what we got!

Of course there will be a new audio episode on Friday, but we're catching up a bit with the video versions now after some delay. Looks like Ep. 11 (Saved by the Bell) is blocked so we'll probably have to do a Fair Use claim to get that back up, but Eps. 12 and 13 are good to go if that's your preferred method:

Okay, so this episode is ostensibly about Clarissa Explains It All, but upon listening to it, I'm downright amazed at how we managed to shoehorn both the Phillips CD-i and Final Fantasy VI into the conversion in less than five minutes. God, we're nerds.

I enjoyed the hell out of recording this episode. Thanks to Nintendo's aggressive youth-focused advertising during my most vulnerable childhood years, I still consider this piece of crap a fun show. Thanks Nintendo, thanks for that.

I was absolutely caught flat footed by John's choice for this episode. I had never seen, nor even knew about, the Godzilla animated series from the 70s. It looks pretty weird you guys, but maybe more so when you watch the intro like 90 times in a row.

Been a little low key on the internet for a bit, but these are still coming out!
Episode 20 - Baywatch Nights Theme Song Episode 21 - Lick it Up by Kiss Music Video Both of these episodes are great, but I'm especially fond of Baywatch Nights because when we started the YouTube series that was really the genesis of Video Death Loop, the original Baywatch theme was the first episode we did. The sound quality is not great, but the entire format of this show evolved live during that episode. We had no idea what was going on happen and you can see us just stumbling our way toward something. Baywatch Nights has been on my radar ever since.

A little something different this week, a local comedy night (a free wheeling world-building show called Friendlytown) asked us to perform Video Death Loop live. We pulled a couple regulars from their show and watched the Home Alone 2 trailer on loop with an audience.

Did you know there is a device, that you can buy, that attaches to a horse's testicles and an electric drill and allows you to castrate that horse? There is. This device is called the Henderson Equine Castration Instrument and they have a graphic, seven minute long infomercial.

 The only issue I have is that your page is unresponsive, maybe just for me on my phone though. Look into using wordpress for it, here's some more basic info. Other than that keep them coming I like it a lot

Thanks for the comment, glad you like it. The page is actually running on WordPress, so I'm not sure where the unresponsiveness comes from. I'll look into it. You can subscribe via a podcast client and skip the page altogether, though.
