Holy god that's vile. After a certain point it becomes impossible to actually cook all the pepperoni correctly, so the under layers are just going to be warm at best slime dripping grease disks with the texture of snot.

You all wanna know the trick to good pizza? Veggie to meat ratio at the bare minimum 2:1, no the sauce doesn't count, you one fuckin jag out there who's gonna ask. Add cheese to taste depending on how drunk you're feeling at the moment.
My go to is pepperoni, onion, spinach, mushroom, feta, and banana pepper, for reference. |

I'd give that pizza a shot, but yeah, I'd cook something akin to a pepperoni lovers and then add the cooked pepperoni after... maybe throw some more cheese on top and run it through again, just to be sure.

I will eat a pizza with pepperoni on it. I will not be happy about it however. Pepperoni is one of the most overrated pizza toppings of all time. Even in small amounts, it exudes way too much oil. I'm trying to eat a delicious finger food over here, not guzzle oil from a bread cup. There's a million different toppings you could be adding to your pizza that still gets you protein or a bit of a spicy bite, and end up less oily. Choose one of those options. Just say no to pepperoni.

The best pizza I've had this year was The Pollinator at Hideaway: Olive oil & garlic glaze, mozzarella, pepperoni, spicy capicola, salami, banana peppers, Parmesan-herb shake, baked and then drizzled with honey.

I’ll eat any pizza that is handed to me but I’m picking off the olives and there is nothing you can do about it. Very different from when I was a kid and would take off all of the toppings and just eat bread with sauce on it. Later I learned our local pizza place was garbage.
Favorite is probably to just make my own at home with some roma tomatoes and fresh basil as toppings. Why mess with perfection? |
