That's the one! First nine hints were all referring to the mini games.
1) All You Can Eat Sushi-Go-Round has Lickitungs eating as much sushi as they can, trying to rack up the biggest sushi bill. Watch out for the wasabi, it's hot! I know this from experience. 2) Charge It Thundering Dynamo has Pikachus and Voltorbs racing to charge up a generator. 3) Run, run, run, as fast as you can! Run, Rattata, Run has Rattatas racing to the finish on treadmills with pop-up hurdles. 4) The Memory Games Clefairy Says is a memory game where the students have to mimic the directions briefly displayed on the blackboard by teacher. 5) Doo wop, doo wop, flop! Magikarp's Splash has Magikarps flopping about with their Splash move to hit a switch as many times as possible. 6) Go to sleep, go to sleep... Snore War has four Drowzees trying to put each other to sleep with Hypnosis. Last one standing wins. 7) Iron Will Rock Harden has Metapods and Kakunas timing their Harden move to turn as solid as steel and smash rocks that are trying to squish them. 8) Black Blue Gold, Texas T. Dig! Dig! Dig! has Sandshrews digging down deep. First to strike water wins. 9) Snakes...why did it have to be snakes? Ekans' Hoop Hurl is a game of Ring Toss where you throw live snakes (Ekans of course) around Digletts. 10) Ludicrous speed, GO! The game has Doduo and Dodrio modes unlockable for the emulator that plays the Gen 1 Pokemon game you have inserted that speeds the game up to 2x and 3x speed respectively. 11) A huge leap in visual quality over the games preceding it in the series. While some of the models carried over from Japan's Stadium 1 didn't age well (*coughMachampcough*) this game has really good 3D graphics for its time, and especially for a Nintendo 64 game. It's a big step up from the Game Boy games and Pokemon Snap. 12) The pack-in peripheral is not required to play the game, but it is pretty essential to the experience. You can rent Pokemon with set moves if you don't have a Pokemon cart, but a huge part of this game's appeal is using the Transfer Pak to play with your Pokemon team. This also lets you view your Pokedex in 3D and play Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow on your Nintendo 64 much like you would with a Super Game Boy on the SNES. |
