Uh-oh, I accidentally took that quiz. I would say upwards of half of those questions are lousy.

As flesh and punctuation coalesced around Beat he said only "uh, I think the Large runs pretty big, do you have an Extra Medium" and he and the Void shared one of those retail chuckles where neither of them was sure how much to get into it, but the Medium hugged his ribs and made him look paunchy and he had to get the Larges anyway.

He has never forgotten, nor forgiven.

I've decided that "derse" is a trademark-friendly corruption of Durst, and I am agog at how much of this community does it all for the nookie.

I suddenly got on a Homestuck nostalgia kick some days ago, and started listening to the whole HS discography while at work (currently on Volume 9), because why not... and that reminded me that I had Hiveswap pending to check out, so I did!

My opinion?

Exactly. (act-ballooning wondering included XD )

Also, very late answer but you might be interested to know:

That's because of what I always try the first thing in an adventure game out of curiosity and is never true (except in Freddy Pharkas' Frontier Pharmacy, IIRC), and was the bane of my OCD during my playthrough of this thing:
There are (almost) NO generic messages for using any object with another object. (Almost) every single combination of two objects will get you a single unique text response.
Many (all? forgot to check how many I got) of the achievements you get by trying everything on everything, and you get to learn a few extra details that way (such as information pertaining Joey's heirloom and her mom) and there are some great jokes to be found. Most messages are quick bad puns or derisive comments about how did you even think of that, though, of course.

I guess they decided to do this following HS's spirit of trying absurd commands just for the heck of it whenever a new playable character was introduced?
It may also be a possible factor in the game's many delays (beyond the big "swapping developer & starting from scratch" -heh heh- thing, of course)

If they keep this in following acts and they do indeed get longer, I may die of old age before I get to see the end, haha...

As for the extended zodiac sign thing, I got Pipio = Piscis + Prospit + Light
Which, while rather accurate it also sounds rather embarrassing because "pío" is the generic onomatopoeia for a bird in Spanish, and Pipí is, well... it's not apple juice.

Randomly went to the site to see if I missed a news update, and it now redirects to homestuck.com. Which is ... interesting that it happened this long after the comic ended. It looks like it's still mid-migration because "MORE MS PAINT ADVENTURES" doesn't actually have the old comics.

the bottom of the page reads "©2018 Homestuck and VIZ Media." My guess is the viz partnership means distancing from the old "MS Paint" branding a bit.

Also, all the page links are changed now, which I'm sure is causing the wiki and superfans to flip their shit, hahahaha.

E: as the news is not on the front page, I didn't see that there actually is a long post explaining the move. The biggest thing is converting flash pages to HTML to future-proof things.

It gets pretty violent and grim in parts, in a way that may or may not also be sexualized. But, like, you know, fun?
